Renovated former fishermans cottage, the house has been renoveted to a high standard, located in the centre of the historic village of Alvor The house is within walking distance to all ameneties, restaurants , bars, and a 10 minute walk to the beach..The house has been renovated to a high standard , and is fully modernised. The house comprises of 4 double bedrooms all en suite and an extra family bathroom.There are various external varandas as well as a bbq dining area and an atrium with a cooling off pool ideal for kids or an after beach cool off. The house is fully equipped as well as bedding and towells.

“Home comforts in central Alvor”
A warm welcome awaits in this charming and unique property. A well stocked kitchen and all bedrooms with en suites make for a comfortable self catering stay in the heart of Alvor. The only thing I would have wanted as a sun worshipper was a sun bed on a sunny terrace. This place is perfect for relaxing out of the heat of the day. Be aware that you need to be agile to tackle quite a lot of stairs. Cannot fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners.

“Location and Charm”
This property certainly lived up to its name. It is in the perfect location of Alvor, close to the restaurants, bars and shops, and only a short walk to the beach. The house was very quirky and had a very spacious living and dining area. Also the outdoor eating area was great, with us making use of the barbecue. The kitchen was very well equipped and had all the electrical appliances. The little pool was a bonus to cool down in the afternoons. We would definitely come back to this property and highly recommend it. The owners Mario and Dora were very friendly and helpful, and even though they live on the premises it was not intrusive at all as they had a separate door.

“Fantastic find!”
Been coming to Alvor for a while now & this was a fantastic find. Welcomed by Mario & Dora on arrival, smiles every time we where shown another room. Four of us stayed & had a room each with en suite, Plus you have a main bathroom. Great size living room & fully equipped kitchen, great to chill out in BBQ area. Loved the dipping pool. Great place to stay! close by to bars, restaurants, harbor & beach.

“Alvor August 2017”
Can’t fault our time here. Fantastic fisherman’s cottage with lots of hidden nooks and crannies and heaps of character. A very central location just one road off the main ‘strip’ but very peaceful. Fully equipped with cable TV and good WIFI and all the amenities you could need for a relaxing family holiday. Might be worth getting a couple of extra air conditioning units for some of the bedrooms as the upstairs rooms did get quite hot on occasions Owners Mario and Dora live close by and are on hand for any issues and were quite literally lifesavers when my mother broke her ankle on our second to last day. I can’t thank them enough for all their help in our last 24 hours there! A great place for a family holiday
