Description

The Contemplation Room is part of the Vida Pura Villa. The room is rented out individually and has access to the rest of the villa, wich is shared with the guests from the other two rooms.

This beautiful room features a comfortable double bed and a wardrobe. The large windows from the bedroom provide you access to a south terrace where you can see the sun rising and enjoy a nice meal, relax in the hammock, reading a book or doing some activities like yoga.

The Vida Pura Guesthouse has a floor space of 230m2 and features one master bedroom with en suite (bath, toilet, sink), two smaller bedrooms, a bathroom (toilet, shower, sink, and wheelchair accessible if necessary), plus kitchen, living and dining areas. Each bedroom has its own outdoor access – great for doing yoga, reading a good book, or just relaxing in the hammock and taking in the ambience.

The spacious kitchen comes equipped with a double sink, fridge/freezer, gas cooker and gas oven. The herb garden in front of the house will supply you with the lovely flavour of the region! Meanwhile, the open plan living and dining area measures a generous 80m2 and contains a large dining table with 10 seats, a big couch, and a TV.

Large windows throughout ensure that, even while relaxing indoors, guests can still appreciate the beauty of their natural surroundings. Furthermore, large glass sliding doors allow you access the large front decking area.

Equipped with a dining table and chill-out furniture, the wave-shaped decking measures more than 100m2 and is the perfect for relaxing of an evening, gazing up into the vivid night sky and listening to the frogs of the nearby pond treat you to an evening concert. A further 80m2 terrace of Santa Catarina tiles store solar energy throughout the day and release it at night, providing the perfect solar heater for guests outside after sunset.

The land and river side are available as well as are our animals. On top of it all we have a bio-dynamic farm going on that you can visit and enjoy and buy its produce and home made products like jam and such. We have many guest services to offer such a surflessons, bike rental, yoga and meditation classes, donkey touring and much more. Or take a refreshing dive in the river!

Getting around

Odeceixe is centrally located right in between the Alentejo and the Algarve area and has great access to various transport. On a daily basis buses stop at Odeceixe, either the Rede Expressos bus from and to Lisbon or the local buses from and to Aljezur and Lagos. Odeceixe is located next to the N120 which is connected to highway A22. The nearest train station is in Lagos, from where you can take the bus to Odeceixe. Faro is with a 1,5 hour drive the nearest airport, but the international airport of Lisbon is also nearby (3,5 hours by car).

Although guests have their own completely private accomodation, we share the same outside areas with our guests. That means we interact with the guests trying to give them the best service possible.

Smoking is only allowed on outside areas.Check in times are from 15:00 o'clock in the morning till 20h.Self check-in after 20h is possible, and we meet next morning. .
An ecological attitude is very much appreciated along with a respect for nature and the fire hazards in the summer. Just some pets are allowed due to our onw , but first you have to discuss with us No loud noises after 22h00
