Description
Nestled in the beautiful rural countryside of the East Neuk of Fife lies a stone built Blacksmiths cottage and converted forge built in 1866 .
Falside Smiddy Cottage is situated in the original blacksmith building but has all the modern amenities for a wonderful relaxing break away from home. The cottage has two ensuite bedrooms and can hold a maximum of six guests if the small double sofa bed in the lounge is used.
Each bedroom is equipped with a double bed and electric blanket and have their own ensuite attached.
There is a beautiful lounge with a wood burning stove and wooden floors ,the kitchen is fully fitted with Bosch oven and ceramic hob, perfect if you want to try your hand at cooking your own gourmet meals with produce from the many artesian stores and delicatessens in nearby St Andrews.The utility room has a washer / dryer along with mini freezer and a picnic hamper for those who like to take a hot flask on their long country walks.
