Arwen Cottage is a beautiful Suffolk fisherman's period cottage, believed to date back to around the 1800's. It's a delightful two-storey holiday cottage in the heart of Aldeburgh, 25 yards from the beach. Arwen cottage sleeps 4 people.

A gorgeous haven for couples and families, it is a wonderful holiday base throughout the year, with coast, countryside, culture & food on the doorstep. Days at the beach, sailing, horseriding, fishing, birdwatching, relaxing galore!

This traditional Victorian fisherman's cottage is in the heart of Aldeburgh on a quiet street, 25 yards from the beach and 25 yards from Aldeburgh high street.

Arwen cottage is close to an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, characterful pubs, excellent art galleries, a cinema and a theatre. The cottage is also a few paces from the most famous fish and chip shops in the country.

There are excellent restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away. As you step out of the cottage door the promenade and beach are a few paces in one direction, and the high street just yards away the other way. Despite the perfect location, the cottage is delightfully peaceful.

The cottage has been re-furbished in a light but luxurious style and has been brought into the 21st century, with contemporary kitchen and bathroom and very comfy furnishings. On the ground floor it has a lovely cosy living room and dining space with a nice bathroom. There is a private sunny courtyard with outside furniture too.

Response from the owner Guest should be aware that for any items left in our cottage after their stay, there is a minimum charge for sending the item onto them. This is not to make profit as it's an inconvenience for us as we much prefer guests to take all the items home with them as stated in our House Rules. The fee charged is to cover post, packaging, time spent liaising with the guest and organising with the change over agency and their time travelling to the post office, queuing, mileage, etc.
