Description

Minimum stay is 3 nights.

One king bedroom, one queen bedroom, one bedroom with two king single and a trundle. One bedroom with 2 single beds and one day bed in the Games room.

Two bathrooms and a washing machine in the bathroom. Free bath soap.shampoo and conditioner.

The gourmet kitchen has ice maker fridge, bread maker, microwave and Gas oven-Hotplates.

Granite bench-top and island unit and is fully equipped and has all the basics like sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinaigrette, and some basic spices. Webber BBQ on the balcony.

Just bring your food and drinks.

There is a shop at the Tangalooma resort if you forget things, but you pay a bit more.

one x 55 and one 65 inch LED TVs and DVD library and playstation with karaoke.

The private pool is shared between the two apartments.

Home gym in the garage

Next to the pool we also have a small room room with a Soccer table.

As our guest you have full access to all resort facilities. Two large pools, Sail boats, Fishing boats, Jetskis, Snorkelling, Scuba diving, Para sailing, Canoes, Paddle board Banana rides, Tennis, Squash, Archery, Quad bikes, etc and many organised Tours, whale watching and nightly dolphin feeding

HOW TO GET THERE

The Tangalooma Flyer will take passengers from Brisbane across the bay to the resort Jetty. From the Jetty you take a Taxi van to the house on the hill (3 min ride at $15). Taxi van has to be booked with the resort prior arrival

If you come by 4x4, book the MICAT barge from Port of Brisbane. Drop off is at the wrecks and it takes 15-20 min over sand tracks to the house with plenty of parking available. You can also hire a Landcruiser from the ressort.

The Neighbourhood

Moreton Island an unforgettable experience.

Take a trip along the deserted eastern beach to the light house and stop at the blue lagoon (fresh water lake) for a swim. Or go on the western beach and stop at the Oyster farm for the freshest oyster you ever had. Explore the dessert and try tobogganing.

Getting around…

To explore the island you must have a 4x4 as there are no sealed roads on the island. Most trips can only be made at falling or low tide.

Getting Around

No roads or shopping as Moreton island is a national park. Relax and enjoy the crystal clear and pristine waters of Moreton Bay.

“Magnificent home away from home.”

The house has the best view of the bay. Our host Wolfgang is friendly and very accommodating and knew the area well. My group had the best time in Tangalooma and we will be back again.
