Delightful and spacious gite on the edge of Swiss Normandy overlooking beautiful countryside. Free wifi, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 5) and own garden. Large children's play area and boules pitch.
Situated in a quiet rural location, Eco-Gites of Lenault offers the best of both worlds - a place to really relax and get away from it all whilst also being close to many popular tourist attractions and towns. Favourite days out for our guests include the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Mont St Michel and Bayeux, seaside resorts such as Deauville, the historic town of Honfleur and Swiss Normandy for all its outdoor and thrill-seeking activities.
For walking and wildlife enthusiasts footpath GR221 passes our gate and leads to a large network of footpaths through the rich Normandy landscape. Come and spy our red squirrels, plentiful bird life and abundant wild flowers.
Those who enjoy history will not be disappointed. We are close to Falaise Castle, birthplace of William the Conqueror. We are an hour from the D-Day Landing Beaches of WWII and near to many cemeteries, museums and monuments relating to the Battle of Normandy.
The gite is in a converted hay barn and we constructed it to be as ecological as possible. Much of the construction material was either sourced locally and/or reclaimed. It is heated by a wood burner (free locally sourced wood is included in the rental price). Due to high levels of insulated it stays warm in winter and cool in summer. Guests can buy our organically produced vegetables when available.
We welcome guests of all ages - 9 weeks to 89 years young so far. We provide much of the kit babies and toddlers need and our farm animals are a delight to younger (and older) guests. Come and collect your own eggs for breakfast!
We welcome a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs.
Helping to keep the cost of your holiday down we have a code to give you 10% off crossings with Brittany Ferries and we can offer a 15% reduction for most low and mid season dates if just 2 people stay in the gite.

“Lovely vacation week with 3 kids”
