Description

This 5 star award winning 2 bedroom lodge offers a very comfortable and relaxing holiday with all the comforts of a home in beautiful surroundings and with the site facilities conveniently located close by. This lodge has only been rented out since May 2016 and has already received high praise in the reviews as well as being awarded an excellent 5 star rating by trip advisor, our other lodge on this site has also received the same 5 star award. Private internet has been installed in the lodge, user name and password can be found on the router.

The lodge has one double bedroom with en-suite and another bedroom password are available in the lodge on the router. with two single beds. There is a main bathroom with bath and shower facilities, please note that towels are not provided and please remember to bring your own. The living area comprises an open plan lounge , dining area and kitchen, from the lounge double patio doors lead out on to the outside timber decking area equipped with outside garden furniture. A parking area is available at the side of the lodge which could accommodate two cars if needed.

The site offers an award winning restaurant, bar and indoor leisure facilities including a heated pool , gym, weights room, steam room and a beauty treatment area.

The site is ideally situated for those who wish to explore the area. It lies on the doorstep to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales as well as close to the beach at Morecambe, the ancient city of Lancaster and the many local walks and rambles next to the site. It is also a great area for bike riding, the canal and its path being just a few minutes away. Warton Crag, Silverdale and Arnside offer areas of beauty whilst nearby Leighton Moss nature reserve has been featured on Autumn watch twice in recent years. The local area is great for walking, cycling and exploring.

The nearby town of Carnforth, two miles away, provides the nearest shops/supermarkets. Carnforth also was the setting for the film Brief Encounters and the train station café is styled in the 1940's look, with a museum forming part of the station.

“Brilliant hosts”

The hostess were accommodating and definitely wouldn’t have an issue booking the log cabin again as it was spotless and had everything we needed

Lovely lodge with every modern convenience. 2 bathrooms, one with shower, one with bath. Double and twin bedrooms, open plan living/dining and kitchen area with large windows. Had a great 2 night break there, weather was abit wild but with the large smart TV chilled out in comfort.

Was spotless, comfy beds, pillows all utensils required. Julie & Jim lovely people. First holiday for us with the grandchildren without parents. Didn't know the area but found loads to do and on our 1 miserable day the pool was great. Will be back.

“The Lodge had everything. Perfect!”

A good dog friendly lodge in good surroundings, good pool, and first class bar/restaurant. I booked it for my son and his children and their dog, and everyone was delighted with their stay. The owners were very helpful and friendly. They say they would love to book again.

“Lovely family holiday lodge”

We love South Lakeland Park great quiet family site, with very friendly and helpful staff. Julie and James are very welcoming and extremely friendly. They spent time to show us round their lovely lodge and explained how to work things. The lodge is very clean and well equipped and a credit to them. They have their own WiFi service which the kids were very grateful of. We hope to be back soon

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
