Description

At 4 Omega, our largest apartment, the only sound you will hear will be dogs barking and waves on the beach.

This is a perfectly-appointed 2 bedroom apartment with a large private garden and gate at the entrance. While all our apartments cater for doubles, there is also a bunk bed in the second room for a 3rd person at R350 extra per night.

This self contained Cape Town apartment is situated ±6 minutes walk from Photographer's beach, Bloubergstrand (from where all the famous pictures of Table Mountain are taken).

We have comfortably hosted families, businessmen, students, kite boarders, and holidaymakers.

Getting around

While most guests hire a car at the airport, there is a good MyCiti bus-service which runs from the Airport to Town, and from Town to a nearby stop. Several tennants have also used Taxify and Uber extensively, even though they have rented a car. However, if you intend visiting the many wine-farms while staying here, then a car is recommended.

Interaction with guest

Although we reside on the property and are available 24/7, we recognise that visitors are looking for quiet to relax or work, and so make a point of staying nearby 24/7, but not intruding. As tour-guides we are happy to help plan trips (near and far) and are available for self-drive 4x4 training, but will not intrude.

House rules

Bookings for periods in December and January each year, are to be made for a minimum of fourteen days.
About the only rule is no-smoking inside, and PLEASE do not put wet towels on the furniture, and try to keep it tidy(-ish).
We also do not allow parties or events without our agreement.
We want guests to enjoy the Cape as much as we do, so rules are kept to a minimum and we are a nice home-away-from-home, where you can enjoy Cape Town's offers but also rest and relax and enjoy the quietness.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
