This secluded, detached hilltop cottage is situated close to the hamlet of Welsh Newton in Herefordshire and the market town of Monmouth in South Wales and can sleep two people in one bedroom.Rose Cottage is a secluded, detached hilltop cottage situated close to the hamlet of Welsh Newton in Herefordshire and the market town of Monmouth in South Wales and can sleep two people in one king-size double bedroom. There is an adjacent bathroom. The rest of the cottage contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area with a woodburner. To the outside of the property there is an external utility, off road parking for two cars and a garden with patio and furniture. Being close to the English/Welsh border, there are ample walks, castles and towns to explore making Rose Cottage ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break away. Note: There is a £20 pet supplement charge per pet. Not Sunday check in by prior arrangement only.

Fuel and power and all fuel for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Hedge enclosed lawned garden and patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome downstairs only. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3.25 miles. Note: Due to the nearby road and sheep in surrounding fields, please ensure dogs are kept under control and sheep trained and please ensure dogs are kept on their lead at night. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Note: Mobile signal is variable. Note: Check-in time is 4:30pm. Note: Monday and Friday check-ins only.

Region: Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Town: An intriguing market town on the border between Wales and England and close to the exceptional Offas Dyke, this wonderful town combines old and new, from the old castle ruins to the vibrant weekly market. Located at the confluence of 3 rivers the Wye, the Monnow and the Trothy, it is an excellent base to enjoy river boating, scenic walks and a little shopping too, or to sit and relax on the edge of the river and watch the rowers who regularly race and practise their skills.
