The cottage is based in the seaside town of Girvan, minutes from Turnberry Golf Course. With miles of sandy beaches and the harbour just a stones throw away it makes an ideal getaway from walking to adventure holidays.

The newly refurbished cottage has been equipped with all necessary amenities. The cosy living room has a log burning fire as well as central heating to ensure the stay is as comfortable as possible.

All rooms have a TV and free WiFi and the kitchen has plenty of space and equipment to cook up a storm.

There are numerous buses that travel South to Stranraer/Dumfries or North to Ayrshire. The train station is on the mainline down the coast and also leads back up to Glasgow and is minutes from the cottage

“Weekend break”

Lovely cottage , a stones throw away from the beach , near local shops and pubs . WiFi was available, and managed to get netflix on the TV.

Response from the owner Hi Julie & Alan, Thought we had replied to this but maybe after waiting 2 years it is probably wise for me to do so now. This was an interesting booking and we felt that had there been the problems listed then the agent or us would have been contacted sooner than when you had returned "home". Using a glass, 1 bed, the "extremely small bathroom" and connecting 3 devices to the WiFi, before leaving with the keys after several hours didn't make sense - had you discovered you didn't need the accommodation as, for example, family had offered alternative accommodation, we could have come to some arrangement. Having alerted you to the iPad we found, we then made it available for courier within 48 hours, at your expense, yes, as you had left it. We are a small business, which always needs the communities support, so whatever your intentions were, thanks for trying to harm a livelihood. We pride ourselves in offering quirky, affordable accommodation where people can create memories and have time with their families - we are sorry this is not what you were looking for.

“Perfect”

This is my 2nd visit to Seabrise Cottage with my 2 dogs. The cottage was extremely tidy and clean. Has all the amenities that you would need for a self catering holiday. Lovely big window in the living room area with a great view of Ailsa Craig. Only a short drive to Girvan for lovely walks with the dogs. Lovely sized garden which would be ideal in the warmer weather to sit out in. Will definitely return.

“Lovely little cottage near beach”

How do damage deposits work?

If Kenny (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
