Description
Typical black stone farmhouse, 450 sq. m., with 5 double bedrooms with private bathroom comfortably holding up to 10 persons. The property has a large garden with private swimming pool, a furnished outdoor area for meals with a barbecue, WiFi and satellite TV. The house is ideal for families with children or for groups of friends seeking to spend their holidays immersed in nature. PLEASE NOTE: For the season 2020 check-in starts from 6 pm and check-out by 9 am.
Outdoors and Swimming pool
The farmhouse is in a 2 hectares area, completely fenced. The garden is well kept, mostly lawn with fruit trees and a large vegetable patch with seasonal vegetables which the guests can use. The swimming pool is well lit and has an infinity edge, measures 7 metres by 14 and 1.3-2.3 metres and is about 40 metres from the house. The pool is externally paved and complete with sunbeds, umbrellas and cold water shower. There is a covered area with tables and chairs, ideal for relaxing moments. There is also a large portico in front of the house with tables and chairs, ideal for outdoor dinners, and a second smaller portico with portable barbecue and ancient oven for making bread and pizza. Parking is within the property.
Interior
Casale Sambuco is a magnificent building dating back to the 19th Century, elegantly furnished and renovated using original materials such as hand-made terracotta flooring, wood beams and tiled ceilings. The house is on two floors, some rooms are accessed from a few steps up or down. The furnished portico leads to a large dining room which leads to a large, well-equipped kitchen with typical fireplace and table for 8 persons, to a living room with old fireplace, to a double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub with massaging jets. A small bathroom rounds up the ground floor. The first floor has a large living room with satellite TV and fireplace, a large double bedroom with independent studio, access to the balcony with tables and chairs and bathroom with bathtub and shower, a double bedroom with bathroom with hydromassage shower and bathtub, 2 double bedrooms each with bathroom with hydromassage shower. The basement floor has a washing room and a room for parking bikes.
Location
The farmhouse is immersed in the ancient Etruscan countryside and is 580 metres above sea level, surrounded by large lawns and woods making for a great view.

Casale Sambuco has WiFi, central heating, baby bed, high chair, complimentary toiletries and parking. All bedrooms have mosquito screens.

The price includes bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen along with swimming towels (changed weekly), internet, light, water and gas (not including central heating), final cleaning, high chair, baby bed and the use of 6 bikes. Casale Sambuco is an imposing building in black stone typical of this area dating back to the 19th century. It has now been converted into a comfortable holiday villa for tourists who love the Umbrian countryside. It is found on the green hills at 580m asl, surrounded by large meadows and woods giving the whole area an idyllic vision. The most important nearby town is Orvieto with its famous cathedral with its mosaic façade which lights up in the sunset. It is worth spending a day at the Lake of Bolsena, of volcanic origin with clear waters and delightful fish restaurants. The property is fenced and includes a large lawn with a kitchen and fruit garden at your disposal, a well-furnished area with a table and chairs for outdoor meals, wood-fired oven, barbeque, table tennis, infinity-edge swimming pool (14x7, 1.30-2.30m deep)(01/05-30/09) illuminated and well-equipped with sunbeds and deckchairs and outdoor showers. All the bedrooms have insect screens. The country house has central heating and wi-fi Internet connection. You can have a maid, cookery courses, a chef, a babysitter upon request and pay for them on location. Car park on the property.
