The apartment it´s situated on the fisherman´s village of Vila Chã, Vila do Conde at 15 minutes from PORTO...consists on a large and well decorated lounge with a fireplace and good solar exposure equiped with 42’TV and Home Cinema, ; well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms; two bedrooms: one with a king size bed suite and the other with a couple bed too: both whith plenty of closet space;a big backyard with a table for six and a sun umbrela perfect for a great open air meal in the hottest and sunny days
The Praia Nova and Praia do Mindelo beaches with its dunes and warm sand invites you to spend the day under the sun: sunbathing or taking a deep into the ocean and its just 30 metres away from the house… you can also enjoy the landscape at sunrise and sunset walkin on the wood gangways along the beach
Famous for Port Wine caves and stores, and for the Douro river boat tourson their traditional Rabelo boats, Porto offers you an unforgettable experience,famous for it’s historic centre – a UNESCO World Heritage - its magnificent river side area (Ribeira), great restaurants and, mostly, for the warm hospitality of its inhabitants and its only 15 minutes by car away from our place
Just 3 miles north is Vila do Conde, the closest city which still keeps a lot of the character of old Portugal in its architecture and gastronomy and Póvoa de Varzim where not counting their beautifull beaches you can find lots of fun on night life at weekend or visiting the Casino da Póvoa and try your luck…
At the arranged arrival time, the housekeepers will check you in, collect the security deposit, provide keys and useful tips about the accommodation and stay During your stay, you’ll be provided with a contact number for any emergencies or requests
Transport: Porto Metro System: the metro system connects Porto to the airport and all the way to Modivas and Mindelo, the 2 closest stations to the property (around 2 miles). Ticket prices start on 0.95€ Cabs: they can be found everywhere in Porto and in the airport as well. There is a service in Mindelo and we recommend the services of a local cab driver that speaks English .Fares from the Airport to the apartment or to Porto cost around 15€.
Car hire: most rent-a-car services can be found at the airport Budget, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National/Alamo and SIXT are just a few of them. A car drive from the airport to the apartment or to Porto takes just 15mins.
