Description

Sub Rosa is a spacious, beautifully decorated row house with marble floors throughout. It is arranged on five levels, the accommodation being over a separate owners flat. It is situated within a private courtyard in the exclusive neighbourhood of Dona Paula, approximately 5km from Goa's lively capital city Panjim.

The house occupies an enviable position with stunning views over the Zuari River and out across the estuary to the Arabian Sea.

Sub Rosa is tastefully furnished to accommodate up to eight people in four spacious bedrooms which are set out on different levels offering a high degree of privacy. Each has its own modern, luxury en-suite bathroom and private balcony. The two sea facing rooms enjoy superb views over the Zuari where it is possible to see local fishermen at work and spot dolphins at play. if you are an early riser, the sunrises are spectacular. The other balconies provide cool and shady vantage points to watch the world go by.

All rooms are comfortably equipped with teak furniture handmade by local craftsmen. Three of the rooms have double beds and one has twin beds which can be made into a double. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Sub Rosa has a comfortable seating area equipped with Sky TV and a DVD player. It also enjoys beautiful views across the river. There is also a large, comfortable open plan lounge/dining room and a handcrafted, fitted kitchen with granite worktops. The kitchen comes fully equipped and features a large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and separate hob. There is also a water filter to provide safe, cold water. It is possible to enjoy stunning sea views from this area or to sit out on the balcony and watch people taking a stroll along Dona Paula Jetty renowned as the location for many Bollywood Movies.

Sub Rosa has a cleaner who visits on six days a week, Sunday being her day off.
