5 Star Rated house in a central city location.

Full use of the house for the entirety of your stay.

Great value compared to a run of the mill hotel stay.

Fabulously decorated with 2 separate private bedrooms.

Airbeds can be added for larger groups (probably not best for 3 adult couples though).

All you need for self catering - Large kitchen diner.

Norwich Cathedral Close 30 yds away.

Walk to all attractions & 100s of eateries

Free Wifi & Freeview TV and DVD.

Great shopping and river walks on your door step.

No pets (we are sorry) unless dogs that assist (guide dogs etc).

Parking nearby in the new multi storey at £8 (approx) a day.

The House is a mid-terrace townhouse and is located in the centre of Norwich city.

There are 2 separate private double bedrooms,

separate shower room facilities, a large kitchen diner and a living room with FreeView TV/DVD. The house has stripped floors and doors and is decorated and furnished to deliver a fab home from home stay. The kitchen has all you need for self catering and there is a large kitchen table to enjoy.

We can now offer an air conditioning unit (only one) and fans for those hotter months but you must request these as they are not always stored at the house.

The house is as central as you can hope for and is 30 yards from the famous Norwich Cathedral Close and a brief walk to all local city attractions, fabulous pubs and restaurants.

The train station is only 5 minutes walk away so if you are coming by train it is very simple and easy to find.

Parking - The best option and one 95% of guests take advantage of is the multi storey car park in Rose Lane, which is only 2 minutes walk away and at £8 or so a day is also very cheap.

Ps. This house is ok for say 2 sharing couples with a maximum of 2 children (under say 12) - any groups with 6 adults then this would not be suitable.

The house is a purpose prepped self catering holiday let property (not houses which are lived in and rented out like many places on these websites). Each house is yours for the entirety of your stay and therefore allows you to have a secluded and peaceful environment for you and your loved ones to enjoy away from the crowds (unlike the hotel/Guest House crowded lift, noisy corridor or busy cafe). All bedrooms and the bathroom are located on the first floor. The stair case is steeper than usual but has a hand safety rail as help. If you require complete tranquility then please know that this is as central as it gets, so expect the odd street noise as with all city locations. This is also a house built in 1850 so please also expect the odd quirky thing - original sash windows, the odd creaky floorboard or door - but also all mid cons of 21st century living - all our guests just love this place for many reasons so we are confident you will too.

You really do not need a car but if you have one then park it up and leave it for the duration. Everything you need is literally on your doorstep.

“Pretty house, close to train station”

Stayed in this comfortable 2 bedroom house for 3 nights at Easter weekend. Nicely furnished and well equipped as per description. Best feature is its location on a side street barely 5 minutes walk from train station. Pleasant walk into town centre via cathedral area is only 10 minutes. Will book again if visiting Norwich in future. Oh one minor drawback is narrow, steep staircase which I believe most Norwich houses have.

Response from the owner Notice to new guests - This review contains some very unfair and inaccurate comments I have to say. The house is in a central location down a street towards the Cathedral Close. As with all city places there is always a small chance with getting some noise from the odd fool - this is completely unavoidable unless you want a place to stay in the middle of a field. The cost per night for this house was not £200 so this is a complete lie I am afraid to say. I am afraid there is absolutley NO parking on the streets outside the house - as per the detailed description for house so I can only guess that this guest did NOT read the description before they booked. Most if not all guests use the extremely useful car park which is a 2 minute (not 5 minutes) walk from the house and cost about £8 per day - which for central city prices is very cheap. For a 1Km walk there is free parking on the streets if you want to save some money. As a host it is unfortunate that you meet some people (thankfully a low number) which will never be satisfied. On all our advertising platforms we receive over 90% 5 star reviews with all guests having a perfect stay. I go by the doctrine - you cannot please everyone but at least we provide a perfect stay for a huge majority of our guests (especially if they spend a moment reading the very honest and detailed description on this property)
