Aptly named for its vantage point and also for the location of its visionary owners, North sits high on the slopes of Signal Hill with an outlook that stretches across the city to the ocean, Robben Island, and far beyond. This newly built villa has a modern and exclusive design with a focus on stylish entertainment and supreme enjoyment of the spectacular views.

This exceptional villa is located in upper Green Point with easy access to the V&A Waterfront, the Atlantic Seaboard, and the city centre. An array of excellent restaurants are only a short drive away if guests can manage to tear themselves away from the comfort of their villa and the mesmerising views.

An impressive driveway leads up the hill to the front entrance where guests are ushered through the glass doors into the hallway. This level houses a beautifully designed wine cellar where connoisseurs may be easily distracted with viewing the owners’ collection. Stairs lead up to the next level where one of South Africa’s premier interior designers has created elegant and stylish living areas. Ideal for both entertaining and enjoying some laid-back relaxation, this open-plan space maximises the incredible vantage point of the villa.

The stylish kitchen is designed for interactive meal preparation with counter tops that are a chef’s dream in terms of preparation space. Plus the chef is served up with a breathtaking view as the kitchen looks out over the lounge and beyond to the azure ocean. Counter tops can double up as serving areas when entertaining, while the large windows slide completely open to create a bar service area to the sheltered rear terrace. There is a dining space in the kitchen for 6 and then another dining area beyond that seating 10.

The beautifully furnished living and dining areas are filled with both South African and European art pieces. Stackable sliding doors create a seamless and exceptional flow from indoor to outdoor living spaces with the areas blending into one. The front terrace has comfortable couches, a barbecue and seating for 12 to enjoy some al fresco dining. Sundowners on the terrace are a sublime experience as the light changes and the view below takes on another dimension. The heated rim flow swimming pool and outdoor shower offer an impressive view out over the city, the beautiful Green Point commons, the ocean and beyond to Robben Island and the surrounding mountain ranges.

The villa has a TV lounge that can be closed off from the main living areas for additional privacy. Doors lead out to another rear terrace where a sheltered and private spa pool is found. This can be heated up to 40 degrees Celsius for year-round enjoyment.

The upper level is dedicated to five spacious en-suite bedrooms, all with exceptional designer furnishings, King-size beds and exclusive European bed linen. Bedrooms one, two and three all have exceptional views to the front of the villa and sliding doors leading on to spacious furnished terraces. The bathrooms are open-plan, one having both an elegant bath and shower and the other two showers with a view. Bedrooms four and five have large glass doors allowing for a view of the mountain slopes and forest to the rear of the villa. The doors open on to French balconies where the peace and tranquility can be enjoyed. Both these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers.
