Description
This lovely conversion is in the heart of Bradwell in the Hope Valley and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Brookside Barn is a lovely conversion of a stone semi-detached outbuilding located in the village of Bradwell in the Hope Valley. The cottage sleeps four people in one double bedroom and a twin, plus there is a bathroom. The cottage also contains a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a gas stove. To the outside of the cottage there is free roadside parking on first come, first served basis and a patio with furniture. Brookside Barn is a lovely conversion which is situated in the centre of a village with lots of areas to visit nearby and further afield.
Amenities: Gas central heating with gas stove. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine Lakeland 3 tier Dry Soon Airer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking on driveway shared with the owner. Patio with furniture. One small/ medium well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and restaurants 5 mins walk. Note: There is a flowing brook close, children to be supervised. Note: Children aged 5 years or over only. Note: Check in from 4pm and check out by 10am. Note: Minimum of 3 nights stay for short breaks only.
Region: The ultimate in year-round appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
Town: Bradwell is a pretty village in Hope Valley, in the Peak District National Park. Tideswell, with its Cathedral of the Peak just four miles from Bradwell. The picturesque village of Castleton is three miles away. The dramatic scenery of Winnats Pass and Edale in the Edale Valley, famous as the start of the Pennine Way, is nearby. Hathersage is just four miles away and has excellent cafes and an open-air, heated swimming pool. Slightly further afield you can potter around the historic market town of Bakewell, or the Spa town of Buxton, renowned for its spring water, opera house and arts, jazz and opera festivals.
