Overlooking the Ayung River ravine, Heaven in Bali, our boutique homestay (B&B) with five (5) spectacular rooms, boasts a stunning view of the valley and majestic neighboring mountains. The nearby village is named Desa Kerta, which means Village of Peace and what a fitting description for this location!

Each room is unique and represents great value at US$110 per room, per night, including breakfast, tax and service.

At 824 metres (2400ft) above sea level, we enjoy a temperate climate, ideal for swimming by day and sleeping without air-conditioning at night, just the sounds of nature to lull you to sleep. Temperatures range on average, from 18C to 27C, so bring a sweater and baggies for the evenings and your favorite suntan lotion for the days!

Completed in December 2006, Heaven in Bali is a boutique homestay, built in traditional style architecture with all the modern trappings to make your holiday a truly easy and memorable experience.

When you are not relaxing around the swimming pool; take a leisurely stroll through the superb, tropical gardens, stopping to gaze at the Koi or sit and contemplate your life to the sound of birdsong, frogs and crickets.

We have created a totally casual and relaxed atmosphere at Heaven in Bali, where you can unwind and rejuvenate, while immersing yourself in nature's offerings: lush vegetation, frogs, butterflies, the resident brilliant blue Kingfisher, whispering bamboo, spectacular mountains bathed in the mornings golden light and the mist filled valley. Occasionally you will see monkeys in the jungle canopy and squirrels playing tag amongst the branches.

We are just 20 kilometres north of Ubud, the renowned cultural centre of Bali, where you may choose from a vast array of activities from fine dining, cultural dances and ceremonies, temple and royal palace visits, shopping, visiting Monkey Forest, and numerous galleries. In addition, some of the finest hotels and spas in the world can be found a short drive down the valley from Heaven in Bali, along with more vigorous activities such as white water rafting, mountain biking, elephant rides, paddy walks and more.

We have a late model Toyota Kijang (People Mover) and very knowledgeable, safe and reliable driver, which you may hire for the day or trips into Ubud, sightseeing or dinner. Other drivers and good vehicles are available on request

Interaction with guest

As we live on the property, we love to interact with our guests, share our stories and our 10 years experience in Bali. Alternatively, if you prefer your privacy, we will retire to our quarters and you will barely know we are there! Our staff are in duty from 7am until about 9pm and are fully trained to serve you.
