This terraced stone built cottage is in a countryside location two miles from Barnard Castle and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Stone Byre is a lovely terraced stone built cottage in a countryside location two miles from Barnard Castle. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a double and a twin room. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside is a front patio with a BBQ, off road parking for two cars and bike storage. With lovely panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, The Stone Byre is a fantastic choice for exploring this area.

Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Town: The market town of Barnard Castle is situated in the unspoilt countryside of Teesdale in County Durham. It stands on the site of an ancient Roman ford which crosses the river. The medieval ruins of the castle still tower over the river and are well worth a visit. Known affectionately as 'Barney by residents and visitors alike, the town boasts cobble streets, yards and back lanes, which were ?rst laid out in the 12th century. The nearby Bowes Museum is well worth a visit and a wonderful way to spend a day wandering around this beautiful building and experiencing the fascinating exhibitions.
