Description

Le moulin l'Eveque is a former water mill set at the bottom of the Vire valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty.It is a little hamlet of 4 riverside properties one of which the owners live in and the other 3 are holiday lets. available individually or collectively for larger parties of up to 15 people. Each property has it's own private garden and patio/BBQ area. There is also a large riverside garden which everyone is welcome to use, with a picnic table right on the river, beautiful with a glass of wine at sunset
The 2 bedroom le gite de parc has a very well equipped kitchen on the ground floor, as well as 2 living rooms and the bathroom. The principal bedroom is situated between the living room and features an enormous super king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. In the 1st living room there is an open fireplace, French TV and a DVD player. In the other living room there is a sofa bed and a TV which receives all the English freeview channels From this room stairs lead up to the 2nd bedroom fitted with twin single beds.. Double french doors lead out to the large south facing patio with a picnic table for alfresco eating, BBQ and 2 sun loungers all looking over the generous private garden. Beyond that lies the large communal riverside garden from where it is possible to fish or take a gentle trip up river in the Canadian kayak . A bird watchers delight, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the elusive kingfisher.
