Description

Le gite d'ile, one of 3 cottages set in the grounds of the ancient watermill, le Moulin l'Eveque, is a delightful little riverside hideaway, surrounded by the river, hence the name gite d'ile.

This is a one room studio cottage with double aspect windows looking over the garden and river westwards and straight across the waterfall to the south.

Although small the gite d'ile is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The small kitchenette has a 2 burner hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, cafetiere kettle and all utensils needed for cooking up a delicious evening meal. TheWC with shower and wash hand basin was renovated last year, 2016. The patio is equipped with picnic table, BBQ, retractable sunshade and sun loungers which can be taken down to your private garden if desired.

A washing machine is at your disposal in the large barn, as is wifi.

Lovely small gite in a quiet location Johnny and Lynn very welcoming left us to relax . Used as a base for touring the d day beaches.

This is a superb position by the River Vire where there are kingfisher and heron to be seen. Johnny and Lynn cannot do enough for you and are great hosts. We shall return and soon!
