Description

Holly Lodge is situated in a prime location on the leafy Georgian square, The Buttlands, in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea, an historic fishing port and popular seaside resort on the north Norfolk coast.

Holly Lodge boasts a lovely open-plan living area downstairs that allows the whole family to be together in one area. There are two sets of french doors out to the secure garden to the rear and the whole house has a bright and airy feel.

This property forms part of a three house terrace comprising Holly Cottage which sleeps two, Holly House which sleeps eight, and this property, Holly Lodge. All three are completely self-contained and have private secure gardens which are individually fenced and could be booked together for large family gatherings or parties. You can also book Holly Lodge (4) as a lower occupancy sleeps four option for Holly Lodge. The Holly properties are ideally situated on the edge of the Buttlands, just one minute's walk from Staithe Street which bustles with independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

Response from the manager Thank you for your review of Holly Lodge. We are sorry that your stay didn't live up to your expectations. Having spoken to the owner, he apologises profusely for getting the wrong dates of when he thought the Lodge would be free. He has advised us that there is a program of refurbishments going on at Holly Lodge to address the issues you have raised here. With regards to the TV's he has assured us that all the TV's have been or will be upgraded to 43" Samsung UHD 4K TV's so if you were to book again, that your viewing pleasure will be top notch! We hope that this has addressed your issues and we look forward to welcoming you back to Norfolk in the near future!

Feedback is invaluable whether constructive or positive as without this we are often unaware of issues that may arise hence customer feedback being something we look at very closely. Whilst we hope you had an enjoyable week, we were very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the interior of the property; the lack of a Welcome Pack; uncomfortable garden furniture and a lack of mugs. We are also sorry to hear that the standard of cleaning was not as high as it should have been. We have forwarded your review to the owner and house-keeper in order that all the issues you high-lighted can be addressed, as necessary. The owners would like to assure you that they take all feedback seriously and all the issues you raised will be thoroughly investigated and dealt with. They will also be looking closely at the cleaning company they use as they know that it is imperative that their standards of cleaning are maintained. For our part, I would just like to add that Norfolk Hideaways are sorry that your holiday was not as it should have been and I would like to assure you that, had you contacted us immediately, we would have endeavoured to deal with all the matters you have raised.
