Description
Burn View Cottage is a modern detached property situated on the private road of Loch Katrine on the south shore. Nestled in the heart of the Trossachs National Park surrounded by beautiful scenery. A perfect location for a holiday in one of Scotland's most picturesque areas. The nearby villages of Callander and Aberfoyle are within easy reach offering a variety of pubs, restaurants and shops and a wide range of leisure and sporting facilities.
The choice is yours. If you are seeking rest and tranquillity you can spend time relaxing at the cottage in our fenced in garden, enjoying the spa facilities at the Forest Hills Hotel in Aberfoyle or taking a cruise on Loch Katrine.
For the more active the area is perfect for walking and cycling. Outdoor activities can be enjoyed in Aberfoyle at Go Country or Go Ape and golf can be played in Aberfoyle or Callander and Glen Eagles is not too far away.
The cottage is finished to a high standard and tastefully decorated with hardwood flooring. On entering the property there is a reception hallway with storage/utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble drier. A double bedroom and shower room lead off from the hallway. Upstairs takes you to the open-plan kitchen with oven, hob and microwave and integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher leading to the lounge/dining room with a fantastic view of the burn. Quality bed linen and towels are provided. Flat screen TV with Sky and DVD player are there for you to use together with WI-FI which is slow due to the rural location and only suitable for browsing websites or emailing. However there is no mobile signal.

“Peace and quiet”
Perfect for our purpose. Good quality accommodation, cosy and clean, in beautiful, peaceful, away from it all location. We enjoyed beautiful local walks despite the very wet weather.

“Beautiful cottage - beside a tumbling burn ( waterfall ) - peaceful ( this place is good for the soul )”
This cottage is very comfortable and provides a great base to explore . You will need a car but the plus to that is seeing views very few other will get to see. We loved sitting having breakfast watching the woodpecker on the bird feeder - listening to the tumbling water . The owners are very friendly and really try to make your stay perfect for you . I have already recommended to family and will be returning … if you are looking for peace and quiet in a place of real beauty this is for you .
