Description

Swallow Cottage is a cosy one bedroom cottage converted from an old stone barn. It looks out over a large field with beautiful Oak trees dotted about. The bedroom consists of a king size bed and a large puffy duvet. This bed can also be split if a twin room would be preferable. Adjacent to the cottage is Swallows Nest, our twin bed shepherd's hut which is ideal if you have kids who like their space and this is included with Swallow Cottage It consist of twin beds and wall mounted flat screen TV. The kitchen/living area is comfortable clean and well equipped with everything you should need for a self catering break. The tv has hundreds of freeview channels including music stations. Outside is a large patio area and plenty of parking space. You are offered full use of The Secret Garden which is a large garden area with patios, fairy lights in the trees and use of a bbq and fire pit available to rent (subject to availability, we do not provide charcoal or wood).

Getting around

The X2 bus service runs between Cardiff, Cowbridge and Talbot Green, however, the service only runs between limited times. The Valley line runs from Pontyclun park and ride to Cardiff. Taxis are available but need to be booked in advance.

Interaction with guest

We aim to offer you a relaxing, chilled out break to come and go as you please. There is a leaflet stand in the communal hallway of lots of fun activities in an around the area. As we live on site we are normally around. However, if you have any issues at all during your stay we urge you to contact us by text and we will endeavour to assist straight away. Group bookings accepted for tasteful hen/stag parties. Please respect our property and surroundings. Pets welcomed but must stay on a lead outdoors and kept off the furniture. We strongly request that guests adhere to our very easy to follow recycling and waste system and please leave the property as you would expect to find it. How do damage deposits work?
