Description

Kingfisher Cottage is our two bedroom cottage, one king that can be a twin and a twin sleeping 4 in total. The kitchen/living area is clean and comfy and fully equipped for your self catering needs. The windows look out onto the quiet country lane. The bedrooms are made up ready for your arrival with puffy duvets and cosy linen. Kingfisher Cottage has gas central heating from a combi boiler so hot water on demand. Outside are patio areas with full freedom round our beautiful secret garden with bbq and fire pit available on request and subject to availability. There is plenty of safe off road parking for your vehicle. We are perfectly situated for all activities .... beach walks, forestry walks, city life, countryside activities, golf, health spas and culture, plus an assortment of great restaurants.

Getting around

We are set in a lovely, quiet, country lane but unbelievable only 2 miles from J34 of the M4 but you'd never know it. Very accessible for Cardiff City, Cardiff Bay, Cowbridge and the beautiful Heritage Coastline. Great walks, local pubs, super food.

Interaction with guest

We are normally here to welcome you to our cottages and show you around. We live on site so are happy to help with any queries or problems. I keep my mobile handy and generally answer any queries/problems by return up until 7pm unless it is an emergency. If for any reason we can't be there to greet you we will always give you full instructions and leave the lights and heating on for a warm welcome.

House rules

We accept pets at £10 per pet per night. A maximum of two pets who should be smaller than 25kilos and must be kept on a lead whilst on site. We are ideally located for cyclists and have safe storage for bikes. We accept large parties of up to 15 when all the accommodation is booked for a group. We also have a wedding venue The Secret Garden. The Secret Garden is also open for use by any of our guests and we encourage bbq's and fire pits in our fairy lit garden.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
