Pet friendly, just 1/2 block to miles of pristine, quiet beach, located in the isolated community of Tierra Del Mar (5 miles north of Pacific City). MONSOON SPECIAL: Stay a 3rd night for free anytime during the off-season... Lovingly furnished, 1-1/2-story home. Vaulted ceilings, open plan. Choose a book from the extensive library, grab a cup of cocoa, and settle back in the rocking chair by the woodstove after a long walk on the beach. Step outside on the spacious 2nd floor balcony: listen to the surf and feel the breeze off the ocean…Reflecting my love of cooking, the fully equipped kitchen includes a Jenn-Air range, Bosch dishwasher, a plethora of cooking utensils and appliances (microwave, coffee-maker, blender, etc.). Charcoal barbecue available. Landscaping with native plants creates a secluded secret garden, completely fenced with doggy door accessing laundry room of house. Three bedrooms: two adjoining bedrooms upstairs, including the "Kids' Bunkroom," decorated with children in mind. Both other bedrooms with queen-sized pillow-top beds. Queen-sized sofa-sleeper in living room provides a fourth sleeping area. (Sleeps up to 10 people.)

Although a car is highly recommended, other modes of local transport include bicycle (rentals nearby); horseback (bring your own or "rentals" nearby with beach access for horses from our house); surfboard/scuba (rentals nearby); jet ski/kayak (rentals nearby); boat (marina/dock nearby); and of course feet (bring your own - footwear optional).

House rules

Dogs & their Humans: Please, please observe the rule about allowing no dogs on the furniture. This does include even your own little guy who wouldn’t dream of shedding… To be serious: The renter after you may not be a pet owner and has a right to expect a pristinely clean house. Our housecleaner’s time is limited (3 hours), and hand vacuuming dog hair off couches or beds, as we all know, takes a tremendous amount of time.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Susy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
