Description

THE LION AT SOMERTON

The Lion at Somerton is situated in the quiet and picturesque village of Somerton, just 1 mile from the costal village of Winterton on Sea. It's extremely well presented and enjoys a prominent location in the village. Easily reached situated along the norfolk coast road between Winterton on Sea and Horsey, the pub has a traditional and relaxed atmosphere throughout in which to simply enjoy a drink at the bar, savour some of the delicious homemade food on offer in our restaurant. This extremely popular and delightful country pub is a place you will want to visit again and again.

We have a pool table, dartboard and a great jukebox. Free wireless broadband access. As a free house we serve a range of real ales, a choice of lagers, Guinness and cider as well as wines, spirits and soft drinks. Home cooked food is served every day from 12pm to 9pm.

AT THE LION

You will find everything that you would expect from a great countryside pub, we have various special nights each evening in the restaurant bringing you great locally sourced freshly prepared quality food. the pub has its own pool and darts team and is active in the local leagues. Some televised sports are also shown on a large screen.

We have lovely crisp and clean B & B rooms available from just thirty five pounds per night. There is a choice of twin, double and family rooms available.

BED & BREAKFAST

We are not a "boutique" hotel but our accommodation is original and quirky with a homely charm. The rooms are cosy, comfy and interesting with muted colours.

We are ideally placed for a stay on the Norfolk coast. Our clean, bright rooms are great value for money and start at just Forty Pounds!
