2 bedroom 2.5 bath house with AC throughout, cliff top location only yards from the ocean & close to the beach

A lovely brand new 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom ocean front home with stunning views over the ocean, including the awsome Jamaican sunset. Located in a private gated development with 24 hour security, white sand beach and infinity pool, the home offers a tranquil setting from which to enjoy the beautiful island of Jamaica, or simply to relax and unwind.

The pretty yellow semi-detached townhouse is built in Jamaican colonial style and is fully air conditioned with superfast internet WIFI access throughout. The two bedrooms have patio doors opening onto fenced balconies; the master suite opens onto the ocean and has a king size bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with bath tub and separate tiled rain shower enclosure. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and patio doors opening onto large balcony. Both bedrooms have fitted walk in cupboards and extra quiet AC units.The second bathroom has a large walk in tiled rain shower and there is also a cloakroom WC downstairs.

The reception rooms comprise open plan accomodation of a sitting area with large HD Smart TV, BOSE iPhone/iPod speaker and Xbox 360; a dining area with patio doors offering stunning ocean views opening onto the large deck; and a brand new modern fully equiped kitchen with fridge freezer with ice & water dispenser, oven & grill, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.

Outside the home is a large deck with seating and loungers for relaxing overlooking the ocean, beyond the deck is a natural garden leading to the rocky cliff with the ocean below. At the front of the property there are two private parking spaces.

The secluded private white sand beach is just a short (2 minute) walk and offers wonderful snorkelling and wildlife including frequent visits by fishing pelicans. sun beds are provided free of charge.No motor boats or jet skis are allowed . The Club's large infinity pool is set behind the beach and offers further seating, tables and sunshades on the pooldeck.

Little Bay Country Club is an up-market, quiet residential community approximately one hour drive from Montego Bay International airport and is set on a peninsula within a marine conservation area. It is within easy reach of the many restaurants, resorts and bars on the beach road, many of which offer access to the famous 7 Mile Beach.

For the more adventurous there are numerous live music venues and clubs including the well known Jungle Nightclub of Negril. Supermarkets are located in the centre of Negril, approximately 15 minutes drive away and local taxis are plentiful and cheap. The popular West End of Negril is home to more hotels, restaurants, the Negril Lighthouse and the famous Rick's Cafe, which with cliff diving, spectacular sunsets and live Reggae music is listed as one of the top ten bars in the world.

The property accomodates 4 adults comfortably, however there is also a single pull-out sofa bed in the living room which will sleep an additional child or small adult.

Car rental available in Montego Bay or locally in Negril, however local taxis are easily available if you prefer not to drive.

Getting around

Taxis are the best way of getting around. Local taxis are plentiful and cheap. "Route" taxis are shared, that stop to pick up additional passengers, the fares are typically 120 JMD which is less than $1. These taxis are hailed at the roadside and are recognised by the red licence plates. Private taxis can also be phoned or stopped at the roadside, they are more expensive but still cheap, be sure to agree your fare before getting in and make sure you negotiate! There are no metered fares, don't pay $10 for a short trip! If you prefer to drive cars can be hired locally in Negril, please ask Donavan to help, or at the airport in Montego Bay.

Interaction with guest

I live in the UK but I have two local people who can help with anything you need during your stay. The property manager,Donavan Lewis, can help with taxis, bike and car hire, any issues at the property and local advice. The housekeeper Marvalyn can provide extra cleaning, shopping and cooking if required, cooking and cleaning at extra cost payable to Donavan locally.
