The Cannons is a truly amazing apartment, decorated and furnished to a very hight standard just moments away from the seafront. The apartment provides plenty of space, natural light and sea views from the side of the bay window. This stylish apartment provides a pristine, hotel style haven with all the comfort and space needed for relaxing and unwinding and making the most of a typically English seaside escape. The fantastic location means you are a stones throw from the beach, and within a few minutes walk of all the shops, restaurants and other amenities that Southwold has to offer. The Cannons holds an independent 4 **** rating with Visit England. It is situated on the first floor and forms part of Suffolk House and can be booked together with The Pier, The Blyth and or The Lighthouse. Please note that The Cannons also has a sofa bed, travel cot and high chair.

“Repeat visitor”
Stayed here several times now- great location for beach and town and a 2 minute walk to sole bay inn. Apartment is always very clean and bedrooms are good sizes

“Appt.3 Suffolk House Southwold”
Our stay last week was pleasant enough,the apartment is light and spacious and we were an easy walk to the centre of Southwold. There were a few minor issues that would have improved our stay: Cleaning could be stepped up ( bathroom window frame as an example) Dishwasher didn’t work and manual not there: Kettle badly scaled up ( had to boil water in saucepan) The shower in the en-suite does not have a wall fitting for the shower head and there is no shower curtain or screen so to avoid water everywhere we had to shower on our knees. Hope you find these comments informative

“EXCELLENT HOLIDAY APARTMENT, IDEAL SPOT TO BASE , .”
Very clean and spacious apartment ,easy to move about with 4/5 people sharing ,close to town centre and the beach ,few minutes to a lovely pub with very good food also wonderful atmosphere . Enjoyed everything about the place and friendly people .Back soon .

“Fantastic holiday home”
We enjoyed our stay at The Cannons. The apartment is very cosy and tastefully furnished. The information folder provided by the owners is very helpful. The proximity to the beach is ideal for a family with children or pet owners. All the amenities like shops and restaurants are within easy reach. A bonus was the free parking at the surrounding streets. The apartment is well equipped. Our suggestion for a family of 4 would be to add some bigger saucepans and frying pans to the kitchen utensils. The kettle needs to be replaced as it shows signs of rust and the cleaning company missed to clean the oven. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this apartment to everyone who wants to have a relaxed stay at the Suffolk Coast.

“Excellent Weekend Break in Covid Times.”
Really enjoyed a short stay in Cannons. We all thought it was an excellent property, well maintained. Very contemporary and yet comfortable. First class communications with the owners. Great location so near to the shops and the beaches. Southwold is such a gem. Completely recommend this flat.
