Introducing the magical and beautiful Mawar Estate located in fashionable Seminyak, at the very heart of Southern Bali’s main attractions and points of interest. Close to world class beaches, shopping, eating and nightlife with some of Asia’s best restaurants, bars and nightclubs offering great value for your money. Less than a 10 minute walk to Seminyak Beach, the villa estate has 7 bedrooms and 9 beds, simply perfect for large groups!

The estate is also close to Seminyak’s beautiful beaches and Indian Ocean as well as ‘Eat Street’ with all its restaurants to suit all tastes and ages (Bistrot, Ultimos, Chandi, etc). The likes of Ku De Ta, Potato Head Beach Club, the W Hotel, Mamasan, Metis, Sardine, Sarong and La Lucciola are just a short journey away. The airport is just a 30 minutes drive.

For a totally relaxing holiday come inside, close the door, and let your mind wander off on any of the day beds in the villa estate or lounge around the pool and drink your favourite cocktails and cool off. Attention to detail has been paramount to ensure that all aspects of the villa complement each other. The Mawar Estate comprises all modern facilities including fast wireless broadband throughout the whole property.

THE VILLA

The Mawar Estate was designed for large groups in mind and consists of 7 luxury bedrooms (with 9 beds flexible accommodation including 7 double beds and 4 x adult singles or 7 x king beds) with air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms with high quality vanity units/fixtures & fittings. There’s a living and entertainment area with open plan dining as well as a fully fitted kitchen. A large swimming pool (child & non-swimmer friendly) with large gazebo or bale is situated in the tropical garden area along with outdoor daybeds, sunloungers and BBQ area. A BBQ is available for use.

There are lots of interesting things for guests of all ages to do at the villa or nearby such as swimming, spa and beauty treatments, boogy boarding, surf lessons, Treetops Adventure Park, Waterbom Water Park, horse riding on the beach, cycling through the rice fields, Elephant Park, etc. The entertainment area also has a good selection of DVD films for all ages as well as satellite tv with numerous international channels. There are also many high quality restaurants, bars and boutique shops within a short walking distance to the villa.

A committed team of full-time, attentive staff including chef, driver and household staff will cater to all your personal needs and desires with a smile from cooking up a local dish, driving you to the unspoilt parts of the island or serving snacks and drinks while you laze around the beautiful private pool.

MAKING A BOOKING

The rate includes all of the following:

• Luxury villa estate accommodation with 7 bedrooms (9 beds flexible accommodation eg. 5 x king beds and 4 x adult singles or 7 x king beds).

• Airport transfers both ways (multiple pick-ups / drop-offs available for same group bookings) in comfortable air-conditioned vehicle

• Our highly rated full-time, in-house chef

• Complimentary breakfast per guest each morning of your stay. For other meals you simply pay for ingredients at cost (with receipts supplied) which works out approx US$4-US$5 per person depending on what you order. It is a very cost effective way of eating for when you don't wish to eat out at the excellent restaurants nearby and the chef is excellent!

• Car & Driver available 8 hours per day (excludes petrol) - Suzuki APV or similar for up to 8 adults including driver. The driver will work extra hours for just USD5 per hour.

• Complimentary 1 hour Balinese massage for each guest (minimum 3 nights booking) – perfect for unwinding and relaxing after your journey

• Household staff with daily housekeeping, cleaning, fresh bath and pool towels, toiletries etc

“Not an entirely successful stay.”

Response from the manager Thank you for booking with us and for leaving a review. We do appreciate constructive feedback to help improve the villa product and service to future guests. We did offer compensation including the free meal due to the water issues you experienced which were a one off.. I apologise for the water issue during your stay, this was caused by damage to the water pump system as well as water cylinder from the earthquake which had occurred. It is now all fixed and works great. We have also now had chance to undertake some additional maintenance at the villa to ensure it looks great for future guests. There is no sports club offered or mentioned in the listing or in our communications. Free use of the CrossFit Wanderlust gym is offered but you did not take this offer up. The staff have a spare key for each room and the rooms were all made up daily during your stay so I’m confused as to why you are saying this. Similarly there were enough pool ad bathroom towels so I’m again unsure why you state this. We’ve double checked the linen store and there is more than enough linen for the villa including towels. The kitchen has full amenities and appliances and can be used by guests at any time plus there is the full time chef available to cook to your needs. We checked for the rat and it could not be found. Pest control visited duering your stay and coud not fin dit either or trces of it. That said, we have taken precautions to ensure there is no issue. Previous guests have stated how they love the location in Seminyak being close to all the restaurants, bars, shops, etc that Seminyak has to offer yet in a quiet road. I appreciate what you say abut the staff and service, they really are a great team. Regards Craig
