Description

Very unique BnB with rooftop access (360 degree view of the mountains and the Paroquia) and large outside kitchen/gathering area. The property has a very outside feel to it which takes advantage of the beautiful weather in San Miguel de Allende. Located in Colonia Independencia with just a 10 minute walk to Centro. I just built an outdoor shower and sink. My guests love them.

Mexican blankets are provided if it gets a little chilly at night. I have spent many nights staying in the property and I love being out in the Kitchen/Veranda at night.

Private entrance through courtyard door.

you can access any part of the property except the main house downstairs. That is my private home. This means you are welcome to hang on the second floor, where the listing is, the roof (any time you want). Access to the roof is directly from your kitchen. You can also hang out in the court yard which is where you enter the property from.

Kitchen -

The kitchen is open air overlooking the beautifully landscaped courtyard lit by fandango lights. There is a large dining table and separate seating area overlooking the lime, pomegranate and fig trees. (Help yourself if they're ripe!) Also, canvas curtains for additional privacy if needed.

There is a refrigerator, microwave, single burner gas stove, toaster oven, blender, panini press and electric kettle. There is not a sink in the kitchen but plenty of purified water is provided. There are also pots and pans and cooking utensils but it is not really a "cooks" kitchen. There are plates, bowls, glasses, coffee/tea cups, utensils, etc.,and a dozen wine goblets.

Bathrooms -

There are two small bathrooms each with a commode, sink and shower. One is upstairs and the other under the stairs. Both provide hot water. Both bathrooms have at least fresh towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Bedroom-

There are three bedrooms each with a matrimonial bed. I can also provide a one person cot and a matrimonial air mattress with frame and memory foam topper.

The rooms have adequate surge protection for electronics. There are also tables/desk work spaces in each room. Each bedroom has a lock on the door.

The property is located in Colonia Independencia and is 700 meters (15 minute walk) to the main town square. One of the best restaurant in San Miguel (Tacos Don Felix) is just one block away from the house. The bus stop is 2 blocks away and takes you straight to the center of town for 7 pesos. Taxis are 40-50 pesos and usually arrive within minutes.

I am always available to provide assistance with directions to the many interesting things to do in San Miguel.
