Description

Our seaside penthouse is located in Isla Plana: a lovely, sunny and relaxing small beach village in the South Eastern coast of Spain. Isla Plana boasts sun and mild temperatures all year round and lies outside of the mass touristy spots of the Spanish coast.

The property comprises a spacious kitchen-diner leading onto a 2 level terrace with stunning Mediterranean sea views. One is directly off the living room where you can eat al fresco enjoying the sunset over the sea. The other is a large rooftop terrace which is perfect for sunbathing or stargazing.

The penthouse has also a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. All spaces are fully furnished, nicely-kept and clean. The kitchen has of course all the appliances you might need if you enjoy cooking.

The resort has communal gardens and two pools – one by the house door- with children's area and Jacuzzi. Private carpark is inside the resort, by the house stairs.

Nearby there are two beaches with warm transparent water, especially during the summer months. Both beaches are within a 7 and 12 min walk. Local Spanish restaurants and a fantastic house-made ice cream parlour are also within a 10min walk. Not only swimming in the sea and enjoying Spanish food are common here. The bay is full of underwater life and scuba diving is a very popular activity. There are many clubs around offering training and boat trips to the diving spots.

The area has as well interesting cultural sights to visit. The historical town of Cartagena is within a 30min drive and is home of the National Museum of Maritime Archaeology. There you could discover rescued sunken treasures from ancient Mediterranean civilisations. The roman theatre, the 19th century coastal defence batteries, the naval museum and the port are as well absolutely worth a visit. Gastronomy is also very important in Cartagena and there are infinite local choices. These include tapas, fish, vegetables and “café asiatico”.

We are a local family and we are happy to welcome couples and families up to 5 members who want to relax in a calm area. Most of our guests come back again and some of them have been coming for many seasons. We would be glad to give information and tips on places to go and we love to make sure you feel at home during your stay.
