Description
Self contained apartment in a lovely village, close to Bury St Edmunds, and Ickworth House. Countryside location.
Property is self catering and has a dishwasher, full cooking facilities, freezer and a washer/dryer. There are TV's in both sitting rooms and the double bedroom.
Bed linen & towels are provided.
A table and 4 chairs are provided for outside use, along with a BBQ.

“Another great stay at The Cart Lodge!”
We have stayed several times this summer whilst visiting family. We have always received the most warm welcome from our hosts. The Cart lodge is the most peaceful and relaxing place to stay. It offers everything that you need and is always spotless.

“Excellent stay!”
We stayed for three nights and found The Cart Lodge to be very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The garden is beautiful to look out on with garden chairs and table for relaxation. The location is wonderful and all we woke up to was the sound of birdsong. We even had a deer feeding just outside as well as the rabbits and chickens. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and very amenable. There are three toilets and two shower rooms one particularly beautiful bathroom downstairs with a large luxury bath. Two separate sitting areas with smart TVs was useful as we go to bed at different times so it was good to be able to use the downstairs tv late at night. The kitchen is fully stocked if you need to cook a meal. We have already booked our return!

“A great find!”
Spent three nights over Christmas in The Cart Lodge and it was perfect. Very comfortable, well equipped and cosy. It had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend.

“Awesome”
When you find a real jem like The Cart Lodge you don't want to share it with the world in case it's unavailable when you want to go back. Superb. Beautiful luxurious accommodation set in silent beautiful grounds. We were really pleased on arrival because the photos do not do it justice. Angie was really helpful in facilitating our stay. Thank you.

“Very comfortable and spacious flat”
The flat is above the garage but that is fine as it beautifully decorated and very spacious with two sitting rooms, 3 loos and a beautiful bathroom. The flat was very clean and covid compliant. The views across the garden are delightful. A good location very near Ickworth House and close to Bury St Edmunds. It is situated down a country lane with lots of walking nearby.
