A very strictly non-smokers private home, with Homestay, Economy and Budget sections . The home offers good value-pricing, comfort, privacy and security. Owner lives in the main house and offers a communal living arrangement. Secure inside parking available. Also suited to people who prefer to use public transport. It is a normal house with no additional servicing; the owner lives on the premises and shares his space with you: basic, clean, safe, secure.This home has been very helpful to people who need who do not enjoy hotels, want to be part of a local community, enjoy cooking for themselves if the feel like and either hire a car or enjoy public transport. Buses also run directly to the city centre and to other transit points, to tourist areas and also local areas. Many tourists and youth who learn English have stayed with me, as well as young professionals who are starting careers in Cape Town. Golfers and other sportspersons have stayed here too, owing to the proximity of sports stadiums and facilities. Navine is a single man who provides good value accommodation and secure parking, no frills. He has traveled extensively and understands the need for privacy, cleanliness, comfort and convenience, all wrapped up in an affordable price. Spar supermarket is 3 minutes walk away and provides all grocery and food needs. Navine looks forward to welcoming you, assisting where he can and making your stay as comfortable as possible (despite water restrictions). Please note house policies, which centres around creating a peaceful, happy and respectful environment for all.

Getting around

Public taxi and busses all converge at Wetton Circle, 10 minute walk away. Other busses stop outside Spar supermarket, which is 4 minute walk from the house. Public transport stops after around 8pm, when Uber taxi is needed. Train stations are a bit further and guests do not generally use them. If you use public transport, bus and train are the usual options. However, hiring your own car is most convenient, especially if your time is limited.

Interaction with guest

I am generally around to assist with queries and help you find places. If not, other house guests will. My neighbours are very helpful also and will gladly advise, if I am not around. The culture here is quite open and you may speak if you have questions ; we do not regard friendly conversation as being intrusive and you will find that people tend to have a sense of humour. Enjoy it!
