Description

Casa Calypso is a pretty new home built late 2017 and it comprises two apartments which are on the first floor. This one, nicknamed Leeward, has two ensuite bedrooms, each with A/C. Perfect for up to four persons be it families, friends or even the solo traveller. Solar powered hot water available in the showers and kitchen. The apartment has an open plan layout and in the kitchen you have a breakfast bar, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and cooker, cutlery, crockery, and other kitchen items. Please note there is no dining table indoors. In the living room is the flat screen television that comes with the Apple Streaming TV box. You can dine, have your morning coffee, afternoon cocktail or just watch the view on the covered outdoor deck where there is the patio table. The is an ramp for entering the apartment which might be suitable for wheel chair bound person or for infants in prams. Secured parking is also available. Centrally located between the capital, St. George's and Grand Anse. Easy reach to the grocery store, bars, restaurants, the beach, banking and public transport. While it is always a bonus to have a vehicle to move freely, it is not necessary as there is a five minute walk to get public transport and you can walk to some nearby establishments.

Getting around

A five minute walk can get you to public transport. Taxi service accessible at a lot places, however sometimes it is best to pre-arrange service. Vehicle rental will always be a bonus, especially if you want to travel around the island. It will take approximately 5 minutes by car to get to the world famous Grand Anse beach.
