Stunning , spacious and detached family home sitting on its own private plot of land surrounded by a pretty stream with private paved driveway.

5 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms , kitchen, dinning room, games room, lounge and utility room.

Sleeps 10 adults plus baby cot and toddler bed

NB bedroom 5 is situated in the attic room

Bed space 9 and 10 is a sofa bed situated in the games room

The ground floor compromises of

Lounge - with large sofas , cuddle chairs, single chair , tv with sky tv and internet. 2 sets of large patio doors lead onto a paved terraced area with patio table and chairs. Other patio doors less into a large ,enclosed garden with children's swing set,slide and 16 ft trampoline.

Kitchen - fully equipped modern kitchen with integral appliances inc, large oven , small oven and grill, 5 gas ring hob, toaster , kettle, coffee maker, food blender/smoothie maker, microwave, 1.5 sink and draining board, fridge freezer. A breakfast bar with 4 high stools.

Dining area - large round table with solid wooden table top ,8 chairs, small children's table and chairs, fire place.

Utility room - houses a large washer with separate dryer, 1.5 sink and draining board, iron , ironing board, Hoover and other cleaning items.

Family bathroom 2 - includes bath, separate double shower unit, sink, wc and heated towel rail.

Entrance hall with places to hang coasts and store shoes.

Staircase to the 1st floor with fixed, retractable baby gate at bottom and top.

1st floor compromises of

Master bedroom - super king size bed, wardrobe, 2x chest of drawers, 2x bedside units with night lights and large mirror.

Ensuite to Master bedroom - 1200 quadrant shower , sink and wc, heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2 - king size bed , walk in wardrobe , 2x chest of drawers, bed side unit with night light and mirror.

Bed room 3 - king size bed, wardrobe, chaise chair , mirror

Nursery room/ bedroom 5 - cot , midi- sleeper , large chest of drawers, baby toys up to the age of approx 3 years old (cot bedding provided).

Staircase to 2nd floor / attic room accessed by a staircase with retractable baby gate at the bottom of the staircase.

Attica room which is divided into the following 2 spaces

Twin room with 2x single beds and wardrobe

Games room with double sofa bed and games area including air hockey table and a wide selection of children's toys

Area also used to store body boards and wet suits

Main family bathroom - bath, double shower unit , sink, wc and heated towel rail.

The property is perfectly located between Cardiff and Swansea allowing guests to explore all South Wales has to offer. Famous attractions close by include Afan Valley, a beautiful mountainous region famous for mountain bikes and hiking. Also the stunning cost of Porthcawl, with its blue flag beaches including 'rest bay' a fantastic spot to catch a bit of surfing.

Local shops include small local , independent businesses and large chain supermarkets, pubs, banks and restaurants are all within the small hamlet village of Maesteg itself.

For those who do not have a car there are plenty of buses to local palaces. There is a train station in Maesteg and therefore train travel is possible to see the Welsh capital of Cardiff. For those who have booked an event at a nearby stadium private transfers can be arranged.

“Lovely house and location”

House is very nice and well situated for all of South Wales. Owners very helpful with a slight issue we had and resolved it promptly. Highly recommend house for a large family getaway.
