Ancient stone farmhouse, 220 sq. m., holding up to 14 persons in 6 double bedrooms with 2 extra beds and 6 bathrooms. The house has a private swimming pool in a marvellous sunny position, a garden with games for children, a covered veranda perfect for outdoor lunches with a barbecue, internet, satellite TV and air conditioning in the whole house (except the kitchen). The property is ideal for families with children or for groups of friends looking to spend holidays together in nature.

Outdoor Area and Swimming Pool

The outdoor area is well-kept, with plants, flowers and lawn, complete with sunbeds and many relaxing areas for admiring the surrounding countryside. The pool has a Roman staircase leading into the water and is 6 metres by 12 with a depth of 0.9-1.5 metres. The pool is in a marvellous position and can be reached via a few steps. All around is the paved bathing area with sunbeds, beach umbrellas, shower and games for children. Guests can also use the small shaded loggia, with wrought-iron table and chairs and a curious window overlooking the view. You can also have outdoor lunches and barbecues in the large stonework portico with long wooden table, benches and chairs, a portable barbecue and ping pong table, right next to the “summer” kitchen/washing area. Parking for 4 cars is just outside the property.

Recently restored, the farmhouse has maintained its typical Tuscan aspects, like the stone facade, wood-beamed ceilings and cotto flooring. The living area is on the first floor, accessible via an outdoor 12-step staircase which leads to a large terrace and to a bright living room with sofas and armchairs with fireplace, satellite TV and a long table for 14. Next to the living room, you will find the kitchen, well-equipped and with a rustic charm, complete with table and pantry where you will find a fridge which also makes ice. The night area has: 1 double bedroom with 1 extra bed and bathroom with shower, 1 double with bathroom with bathtub, 1 double with bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom (which other guests pass through) with extra bed and bathroom with shower outside the room, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower outside the room, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower and a small living room/kitchen with outdoor access.

Location

Casale Montenero is in a calm area with a great view of the surrounding hills, in the D.O.C. area of Montecucco, with Montalcino and Pienza both nearby.
