Are you one of those people who prefer an individual holiday? Then this insider tip is just the thing. In the middle of Piedmont, near the medieval town of Alba, an idyllic wine-growing farm awaits you - newly built and with a separate guest house for up to four people. In the evening enjoy a glass of good wine and the fantastic view from your terrace and discover the wonderful beauty of the landscape.

The Langhe region promises unforgettable experiences thanks to its characteristic diversity. Hiking, cycling, motorbike tours, horse riding, golf - but above all the culinary delights from the kitchen and cellar are just some of the great reasons for a holiday in this region.

Tip: Mountain hiking, rafting and winter sports in the Western Alps, approx. 45 km away, or beach holidays on the picturesque Italian Riviera, approx. 65 km away!

At La Villetta of Cascina Ornati you have all that. Th Villetta is located in a former winery on the edge of the village of Monforte d’Alba. This attractive place is in the middle of the region of Langhe, well known for wine-growing and the cultivation of hazelnuts.

In the detached building with a separate access, 80 square meters are available on the same floor, out of which 40 square meters are with a living room suite and TV, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. From here you can enter the 30 square meter patio with a south-facing balcony.

With the Cascina Ornati you inhabit a historical vinery in Monforte d’Alba. What presented itself as a ruin some years ago, shines as a historical ensemble with completely restored buildings and an inviting courtyard today.

This courtyard is surrounded by a privately owned single house, the guest house offered here and oppositely by a long stretched building with two other holiday apartments.

You look at a hilly landscape with vineyards, hazelnut and fruit groves, reaching out to the snowy Maritime Alps on the horizon.

After 15 minutes of walking you are in the center of Monfort d’Alba with small shops, a bank and pharmacy, a swimming pool as well as numerous bars and restaurants. The castle offers a marvelous view and hosts a small fine jazz festival in summer.

Hiking, cycling, motorcycle touring, horseback riding, golf and, above all, the various culinary delights from kitchen and cellar are only some of the good reasons for a holiday in this region.

Nearby towns like Alba and Asti invite you for a visit. In the Western Alps approx. 45 km away you can also do mountain hiking, rafting and winter sports.
