The Apartment Alfarroba with 1 bedroom for holidays is located in Rua das Andainas, in Santa Luzia Tavira, at the Sotavento Algarvio.

It is a 1-minute walk from the center of the fishing village of Santa Luzia, as well as its waterfront that runs through the entire village and where you can take the boat to Praia da Terra Estreita.

In the center of Tavira, located 4 km away by car, you can take the boat to the beach on Ilha de Tavira, visit the historic city center as well as go shopping at the Gran-Plaza Shopping Centre.

Faro airport is 41 km from the accommodation and the border with Spain is 40 km away.

This fishing village lies on the landscape of the Ria Formosa natural park. With an excellent location, this is a very quiet area and great for families with children who want an ideal place to enjoy a holiday full of sun, beach and sea.

Living room: It is equiped with a flat-screen TV, cable channels, Wi-Fi Internet, air-conditioning, furniture, dining table up to four persons, one sofa bed and two armchairs.

Kitchen: Equipped with various appliances, such as: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. The dining table seats up to 4 people.

Bedrooms: One bedroom furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and air conditioning. Bed linen is provided.

Terrace / Balcony: The Alfarroba apartment has a terrace with sea views at the top of the building, as well as a balcony in the bedroom and living room.

Bathroom: All existing toilets are new. It is equipped with a bath, washbasin, toilet and bidet. Bath towels are provided.

Parking: There is no private parking space, outside the property there are public parking spaces.

“A wee jewel”

The apartment was just as described - bright, spacious & clean. 1 bedroom was all we needed but the whole apartment provides the best space I have rented for a one bedroom apartment. The added bonus is the roof terrace only one flight of stairs above as the 2 balconies are very small. It provides ample space to sit & enjoy the sun - if a bit sparsely furnished & featureless...... but has 360 views of the area surrounding the apartment & the hills behind & the Atlantic in front beyond the river & the reserve. The roof is subdivided but in March we were the only ones using it! The location is ideal as there are a few restaurants & bars near to hand & a couple of little supermarkets within 5-10 minute walking distance. Many more cafes & restaurants are on the river front less than 5 mins walk from the apartment. In March - the ferry to the beach wasn’t operating but Barril Beach was within 30 minutes walking distance. The local bus service is very limited at weekends but perfectly serviceable during the week. But walking into Tavira is easy walking on the flat & there are 4 different routes all taking less than an hour very slow stroll..... to admire the birds, butterflies etc We enjoy strolling & even managed to walk to Luz via small pathways enjoying the countryside. Santa Luzia is a very laid back Portuguese working fishing village. And we love its slow pace of life but it would not suit those looking for nightlife or who enjoy busy places. It is perfect for us!!
