Description

The Carlo House is a beautiful 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom 1800 sq.ft. custom home nestled on 3 wooded acres. Catering to families and small groups that want to be close to Denali National Park (15 min), with all the luxuries and amenities of home.

The Carlo House has a custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the essentials of home to make your stay comfortable. The cozy living room has a small sofa and chair, wood stove, Smart TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and telephone.

There is a grassed yard with a sauna, green house, corn hole and a fire pit (great for smore's or watching the northern lights in mid Aug on).

A covered outside dining area with seating up to 8ppl and a BBQ gas grill. The Carlo House is a 5 minute walk from our main property McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café.

Minimum 2 night stay, unless 1 night is only available.

*NO extra per person charge up to 8 people*

*BONUS-No cleaning fee applied as long as trash is removed & kitchen is thoroughly cleaned incl. dishes.

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY: McKinley Creekside Cabins the Carlo House, Carlo Guest Cabin & Carlo Loft

Due to a short visitor season and high demand a 1 night deposit is due at booking and the balance will be collected 45 days prior to check-in. A 61+ day notice for a refund less a $25 cancellation/processing fee per rental, a 45-60 day notice is required for a refund, less $150.00 cancellation/processing fee, within 44 days it is non-refundable. All no-shows and early checkouts are charged full amount of reservation. We highly recommend travel insurance

Getting around

You must have your own transportation and we recommend you rent a car in Anchorage to drive to Denali We cater to independent travelers that want to be close to the park, but not at a big resort. It is a scenic drive that will take approximately 4 hours (Fairbanks to Denali is about 2 hours, however you typically get better rates flying into Anchorage). Having a car will allow you the freedom and flexibility to explore at your leisure and to stay at smaller properties such as McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café. If you decide to take the train it will take approx. 8 hours to get to Denali from Anchorage and about 4 hours from Fairbanks. You can rent a car from Keys to Denali.

We would love to host your stay in beautiful Denali. It is a spectacular setting, home to abundant wildlife and the home to North America's highest peak, Mt. Denali towering at 20,3210 ft! You check in at our main property McKinley Creekside Cabins where we can assist with questions along with park/tour/hiking information and logistics. There is also a great restaurant onsite, the Creekside Cafe that is open daily from 5am-10pm.
