Description
The property is a charming rural resort situated in the heart of the refreshing and peaceful countryside 50 km northbound from the Oporto airport. Atlantic coast line is 6 km drive and the attractive medieval riverside towns of Viana do Castelo are 20 minutes drive.
The Villa and the ensuite cottage within an area of 3000 m2 have an excellent solar exposure and are fully walled confinning with vineyards, pine tree forest and the road. The gardened area has dozens of qualities of flowers, plants and old trees plenty of refreshing shadows ideal for children.
Set in lawns near the cottage there is a 12 x 5 m swimming-pool 1,90m depth with the pool area having adjoining covered terrace, shower and closet. Barbecue at open air and a picturesque bread and roast oven with a cellar in the cottage.

This typical villa is composed by the ground and first floor. The front door opens directly into the attractiv ely furnished living room. here sofas and armchairs are set around a panoramic (360º) fireplace. In front of you a plate glass window runs the full width of the room and gives an over view of large granitic terrace and courtyard and vines.
In the middle of the open space room there is a dinning table to seat 10 just in front of the kitchen. On the first floor you have 4 bedrooms including a double bedroom with ensuite facilities with jacuzzi. 2 double bedrooms and another room with 3 single beds sleeping up to 10.

The swimming pool and the BBQ area for al fresco dining set in an elevated position overlooking the lawns and the vines will provide the perfect base for a great family holidays, peaceful getaways, beach or countryside retreats, winter-sun breaks.

Thank you very much for taking so much care of the garden; green and plants were carefully watered! , the pool was perfect (water and floor were patiently cleaned!) . The house was clean and tidy and no item was damaged.Thanks again. As regards to the ' high temperature ' inside the house: the house is antique and an air conditioning is inappropriate. We have a fan per room and lounge. The house is totally stone walled (60-90 cm depth) and naturally fresh and has an extra isolation material (4 cm depth ). What I use to do is to keep doors and windows perfectly closed all day long and to open windows at bedtime. I will try a climatisor next year. You are welcome. I strongly recommend your families to other owners! Ricardo

“Amazing villa, can't wait to return!”
We were a family of 6 and went on a fortnight stay in this beautifully renovated villa located in tranquil and lovely countryside village only 5 minute drive from motorways to the northern Portugal and Spain. Very confortable and clean, well appointed, Owner and their representatives very friendly. The stone tile floor sets off the majestic fireplace that features hand cut and split granite stone. This lovely place will embrace Spring visitors who want to relax in front of the fireplace just as much as those cooling down after a day of Summer fun. The rooms were nicely presented with all you could need. The villa has a fully private lawn and a very pleasant outdoor area with a superb pool! which we enjoyed very much. The laundry is well equipped with machine washer and ironing board. The large kitchen had all the necessary appliances to cook and feel like at home. We would like to thank owner of the villa for giving us a very warm welcome and providing everything we need for making it confortable. We hope to return!

“Charmante maison très bien situé”
Location correspondante tel que l'annonce, très propre, spacieux, fonctionnelle et très agréable. Equipements au top, tv, lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, linge à disposition. Jardin spacieux avec sa piscine (à 27°) et barbecue. Bien située dans une région touristique nommée la "Costa Verde" et près de la très jolie ville Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima et Guimarães. Excellent séjour, idéal pour vacances en famille ou entre amis. Propriétaire très agréable et disponible : merci pour votre accueil et pour la documentations laissées à notre disposition.

“Un séjour merveilleux”
De l'arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, nous avons bien apprecié cette belle Villa typique en pierre. Villa très agréable, confortable, fonctionelle et très bien entretenue par le propriétaire très sympathique et discret. Il y avait tout les équipements utiles comme décrit dans l'annonce : barbecue, une très belle piscine, des jouets gonflables, un étendeur à linge, place pour voitures, machine à laver. La maison est bien située pour circuler dans le nord du Portugal (avoir une voiture est préférable car les plages sont accessibles en 15/20 minutes et l'autoroute en 5 minutes). Très bien accueillis par le propriétaire, nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour et nous y reviendrons sûrement !!
