Located near the lovely seaside village of Lahania, Villa Aeolos combines traditional Greek island architecture with satisfying the everyday needs and requirements of the modern family. The villa enjoys the unique features of the local Greek island environment, offering the resident a wild hilly landscape, endless beaches and the sparkling blue of the Aegean sea. Designed and constructed by the owner, a civil engineer by profession, the villa exhibits luxurious well equipped spaces, efficiently designed for your holiday comfort.
The villa is located a short 200m walking distance from the crystal clear waters of the local beach, and close to a wide range of island tourist attractions. It is an ideal base for exploring the breathtakingly beautiful village of Lindos, with its perfect twin horseshoe bays, dazzlingly white houses and imposing crusader castle and ancient acropolis. In the immediate vicinity are beaches to suit all tastes - you can find lively beach bars and watersports, but also secluded coves and quiet, tranquil beaches. Further south is Prasonisi, a paradise for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The nearby towns of Gennadi and Kiotari have a full range of shops, amenities and friendly tavernas.
The villa comprises 4 large bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, arranged in separate functional sections of the house. The total living area is about 240m². It can accommodate 10-12 people at any time and would be ideal for up to 3 families.
The ground floor includes a dining area, a living room with TV and fireplace, a fully equipped, modern and spacious kitchen, and a double bedroom with an accompanying bathroom.
The first floor includes two double bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a children's bedroom with two single beds and a sofa bed. The master bedroom is spacious enough to sleep a baby in a cot if desired. This floor is served by its own bathroom and a lovely sea view veranda, well suited for an afternoon coffee or a relaxing evening under the starry Aegean sky.
The sunny basement has a double bedroom and a self contained studio with en-suite bathroom. The studio is furnished with a wide traditional Rhodian style raised wooden sofa-style bed with 2 double mattresses, able to accommodate a family with two young children or four children. There is also a home fitness centre.
All the bedrooms and the living room are equipped with air conditioning units that, in combination with well-insulated walls and ceilings and high quality glazings, guarantees a cool environment.
The kitchen and living room have direct access to a lovely 40m² terrace that overlooks the garden and the sea. Shaded by a wide pergola and cooled by the sea breeze, the terrace is well suited for a wide range of everyday activities during the warm summer day, including an al fresco lunch cooked on the villa's barbecue grill.
The villa is surrounded by 2000m² of garden with a lawn and local decorative plants, and a 40.5 m² private swimming pool (4.5mx9.0m). On a relaxing day around the house, you can sunbathe in the garden, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and sip cocktails on the terrace.
