Description

This charming, newly built 2 bedroom "Mermaid Cabin" offers beautiful views of Jones ville Bight. Situated right over the water, it is over 800 Sq feet of living space. When you step out on the deck you will never want to leave. These cabin are located on 6 acres of a beautifully manicured point. You can jump from your own private dock into the water or maybe you would like to go kayaking through the mangroves, that were used by pirates or take the boat out and have a look at the island from the water side.

The gentle ocean breeze keeps the cabins cool. The cabins have an open kitchen for dining and the living room is complete with TV, DVD, Internet and Cable. The Mermaid cabin is tastefully decorated with 2 queen size bed and air conditioning unit to make your stay comfortable, which makes it perfect for a family of four or two couples.

Large private front decks with unique wooden furniture that you can relax in. A perfect place to spend your mornings with a book or afternoon and evenings with your favorite ice cold beverage or coffee. The only traffic that you will see is the boats as they sail or motor by. This is a water access only property but just minutes away from wherever you wish to go, its located close to the public dock. The less than 1 minute boat ride offers a wonderful view of the property as it welcomes you.

Local dive services will come and pick you up from your dock for a wonderful day of diving, fishing, snorkeling or what ever water adventure you have planned, there are snorkeling equipment and fishing poles for your use. Some of our unique local restaurants, like Hole in the wall is just across from the cabins also Pukies is located just a minute away. You can also visit a fun new little restaurant Margaritas which is located in the creek, also just minutes away we have the community of Oak Ridge, where you find BJ's Back yard restaurant, Reef house resort, J&D and Save Center grocery stores they are also accessible by water.

There is a lot for you to enjoy by your self if you like, you can take the kayaks and explore the mangroves on your own, you can enjoy the beautiful crystal waters as you swim in the creek, you can go snorkeling, the reef is just in front of the cabins. If you enjoy fishing you can do so, in the open sea, in the harbor or of your deck or dock.

A local grocery store just seconds across from your cabin and other stores just 2 to 3 minutes away, anything you may need can be found at one or the other.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed at the air port. on our to way to your relaxing vacation cabin we will make a stop to Eldon's super market.

If you want to rent a car all though not necessary we have secured parking available. How ever, if you choose not to rent a car, once a week I will take you down to Eldon's if you need something that you can't find at the local stores or if you need to go to the bank.

while on your vacation at "Hill View Cabins" I want to help you meet whatever need you may have so you may feel right at home.

Getting around

kayaks are available for guests use, if they wish to enjoy the beautiful harbour or do their own mangroves tour. water taxis are just a call away or if guest wish to rent a dinghy its also available. If you want to rent a car all though not necessary, we will help you find a secured parking . How ever, if you choose not to rent a car, once a week I will take you down to Eldon's if you need something that you can't find at the local stores or if you need to go to the bank. rental owner, also offers tours any way around the Island, guests are given a better price than other tour guides.

“What an amazing trip”

Miss rosina was very accomidating, the cabin was very clean and up to date. The atmosphere was great. I can't wait to to rete. I will definitely be booking at Hillview again.

How do damage deposits work?

If Rosina (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
