Description

At the foot of the Lantern of Rochecorbon, with sensational views over the Loire, this property offers a unique troglodyte stay. It includes a kitchenette, living space, private terrace and garden. Prices include sheets & towels, cleaning, wifi and all taxes.

Rochecorbon enjoys the UNESCO World Heritage classification, it is 55mins away from Paris via TGV, and Tours airport is 10 mins away. We are close to the A10, connecting you easily to the rest of the Loire, and France.

This troglodyte is set into the rock, snuggly hidden within the garden. This suite shows signs of its historic use as a dwelling with a traditional bread oven in the living room. The accommodation is perfect for two, but can take up to four with a foldout sofa bed (140cm). It includes a kitchenette; with a microwave, 2 ring hotplate, mini-grill, espresso machine (Tassimo), toaster and kettle, a living space with dining table and lounge area, a bedroom space with double bed (140cm), a separate bathroom, and a private terrace.

These troglodytes have been developed to provide visitors with a unique accommodation experience; staying in a modern day cave half way up a cliff! These dwellings date back to the Middle Ages, and even Pre-historic times.
