Town: The hamlet of Phocle Green lies between Ross-on-Wye and Upton Bishop and is less than 3 miles from Ross-on-Wye. Ross-on-Wye is a historic market town overlooking a large loop in the beautiful River Wye, situated in the heart of rural Herefordshire and in the picturesque Wye Valley. This attractive town has timbered Tudor houses clustered around the striking 17th century Market Hall, and there are excellent shops, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. Stroll along the lovely river bank, take a river cruise or view the surrounding countryside from a hot-air balloon. Upton Bishop offers many lovely walks and cycle routes with the Herefordshire Trail and Wye Valley Walk both close by. Phocle Green is an ideal base for exploring all that this region has to offer.
