Description
This lovely chalet bungalow has its own private 5mtr path to give direct access from our large enclosed garden to the unspoilt beach at Pett Level .
The house has a bright and cosy ambience with a view of the sea from the first floor.There is a large living room and three bedrooms ,one of which has its own vanity basin.
There is plenty to do here - fishing, cycling, walking, bird watching and swimming and there are a number of National Trust properties close by.
The very quaint medieval town of Rye is only a 5 minute drive away as is Hastings with its many shops, Aquarium ,cinema, theatre, art gallery and "Smugglers adventure" and other traditional seaside attractions.
Walk along the cliff top at Fairlight for miles with stunning views looking out to sea.
There really is something for everyone !
There are a number of good country pubs and restaurants in the area and a small supermarket 5 minutes away.
Bed Linen and Towels are provided . Please note, the first floor is accessed by a spiral staircase.

“Great location and house”
We stayed at the end of October. The house is well fitted out and only a few metres from the beach. The surrounding walks are great and can be tailored to your enthusiasm.

“A great find - we'll be back!”
There are a few steps up to the beach but my not-very-mobile 80 and 83 year old parents managed to get up to see the fantastic beach. Brilliantly placed to get to Hastings, Rye, Winchelsea, Battle, Bexhill and many more fabulous places. A cosy home-from-home which we will definitely be visiting again.

“A great find - we'll be back!”
I took my parents to the bungalow as part of their 60th wedding anniversary celebrations - we knew the area well because they used to have a caravan nearby. The bungalow was the ideal base to visit our old haunts. Great for my parents to have bathroom, bedroom and all they needed on the same level. They were both able to get up the few steps to the beach, and they had a pleasant garden to sit in while I went off walking - so it worked well for all of us. A lovely-sized living room, comfortable beds (the upstairs bedroom is delightful), a well-equipped kitchen, and not only a decent shower but a lovely bath to enjoy at the end of the day - a proper home-from-home. There are plenty of pubs close by for eating out, and farm shops and supermarkets are not far if you fancy eating in. We knew the area pretty well, but Lindsay provides plenty of information about places to visit, so we made some new discoveries. I could see this being the perfect get-away location for all groups of people: oldies like us, people with children, a girls' weekend away, a romantic get-away, and Lindsay even seems to make provision for those with a dog. What's not to like about having a stunning beach at the end of the garden? We loved the beach bungalow and hope to return again and again.

“Pleasant and comfortable home by the beach.”
Thank you for the strawberries and the pleasure of spending two summer weeks by the sea in this nice little house of yours. Enjoyed it immensely and would recommend to anyone with a family. The location is super with the sea at the backdoor and the marshes just across the road to walk in.
