A villa with pool in Provence. A villa on a hilltop in Provence with a magnificent private pool. As perfect for 2 people as it is for a party of 12 people. Note: we have a sliding scale of rental charges so that smaller parties pay less ! We can accommodate up to 16 - if you include the optional extra self-contained gite/cottage situated in the corner of the garden of the main villa - see below)

' Villa Romantique ' with it's private Roman arena-style pool basks in the sunshine and the very special light of this Provence/Languedoc region and is set in a delightful mature, walled garden amidst the intoxicating fragrances of oleander, wisteria and lavender and among pine, olive and palm trees. Highly recommended. We have owned our 'Villa Romantique' and rented it out for holidays since 2003.

The 10 photos numbered 25 to 34 show 'La Petite Villa Romantique' . If you require separate accommodation for a further 2, 3 or 4 people, tucked away in the corner of the garden of Villa Romantique is our newly renovated self-contained 1-bedroomed gite/cottage - 'La Petite Villa Romantique', It costs from £350 to £750 per week all-inclusive, depending upon the time of year. Note: It cannot be rented separately, so therefore if you do not require it, then it will remain unoccupied - i.e. it will NOT be occupied by any other visitors whilst you are in residence.

'Villa Romantique' is within 1 mile of the historic twin towns of Beaucaire and Tarascon. You are very centrally located in the golden circle created by beautiful Avignon, the Luberon, St Remy de Provence, Les Alpilles, Arles, the Camargue, Nimes, Uzes and the Pont du Gard, and conveniently no more than 12 miles (20 kms) from each and yet only about 45 minutes drive to the Mediterranean.

Either we, or our lovely caretaker who has worked with us for 15 years and who lives in the town, will be at the villa to welcome you, show you around, answer any questions, and give you 2 sets of keys. We, or she, will then come back at the end of your stay to collect the keys from you and to wish you 'bon voyage'..

We had a lovely stay for our annual family holiday, enjoying most evenings either around the pool with drinks during sunset, followed by meals around the long table outside the villa. We had plenty of space to escape the sunshine during the day by chilling out in the shaded area by the pool whilst being able to supervise the little ones, or in the lounge areas inside the lovely house. The kitchen had absolutely everything that we needed and more and we were further accommodated with a highchair and travel cot that was provided upon request. Tony is extremely helpful and was contactable at all times to assist with any queries we had; which were very few as the information provided before our arrival was very detailed.
