Vacation in Downtown San Miguel! right by the jardin/town square! Not many rentals this close to the jardin, especially at this price. Great monthly rates and 50m internet make a great combo to work, live & play remotely. San Miguel, voted the #1 or #2 Best City in the World for 4 years in a row. You’ll be right in the heart of it and able to watch the parades and fireworks from the roof terrace (with BBQ).
San Miguel has become a safe tourist destination since it was awarded the “Travel Safety Stamp” by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). Downtown is certainly the safest place to be with all the activity, street lights security cameras and police presence.

Come enjoy the comfort and convenience of The “Artist's” Apartments in beautiful downtown San Miguel de Allende. This one bedroom apartment is on the first floor. There are 2 studio apartments upstairs.These are in an original colonial building, built in the 1600’s with 15 inch exterior walls. Totally re-done inside with all the conveniences and updates.
Kitchen with stove, microwave, 2 burner cooktop, toaster oven and refrigerator. Washer and dryer.
As charming and comfortable as this one bedroom apartment is, perhaps the best part is its central location in downtown. Just a short stroll to the jardin. Best shopping ever!! You'll be amongst lots of activity, police and well lit streets. Walk everywhere or take one of the many taxis right at your front door. Enjoy the spectacular view on the shared roof terrace (with gas BBQ). One of the best seats in town for all the parades and Centro festivities. Restaurants and shops galore right at your front door. Professionally managed. Someone is available 24 hours. Maid service weekly. All the best Spanish schools are nearby.

Response from the owner Yes, the location is hard to beat if you want to be close to everything going on. The exterior of the building was built in the 1700's with 1 foot thick walls so consequently no windows. The way they built them then was with an interior courtyard and this building is too small for that. It does have glass doors and windows that open to a patio from two rooms. The nice thing is that the thick walls keep it quiet which is a big plus when you're right downtown.

Response from the owner I'm glad to hear the manager responded quickly. That is certainly our policy to take care of our guests. I thank you for letting me know that even after the manager worked on the internet issue, it still did not work properly. We have now changed the router to a much more efficient on. I don't know why there was a problem figuring out the house phone. It works just like a regular phone...no special dialing codes....just dial the 7 numbers for local calls.
