Casa Carole is a 5 bedroom home that features a pool, large outdoor courtyard, maid and cook! Designed and decorated with beauty and comfort in mind, this is a sun-filled retreat for you and your guests. The large courtyard is complete with fountain, swimming pool, outdoor living room with fireplace, a grill, and a beautiful garden. Five bedrooms (each with its own full bath), six bathrooms, eight fireplaces in one of the most beautiful areas of San Miguel. Though featured in magazines, Casa Carole does not have a formal feel....it is relaxed and comfortable as the owners have children and grandchildren. (Yes, we do allow children subject to learning the number in your party and their ages!) The views from the three terraces will delight you.
Take a look....the photos tell the story! The first 24 photos are of the main house. The rest of the photos (following the photo of the church dome) are of the adjacent home "Casa Cho Co Latte," which can be rented separately.
The home can be rented in its entirety of 5 bedrooms (the main house plus the adjacent smaller home called "Casa Cho Co Latte") for $4,250 per week. This rate is based on 8 guests; there is an extra charge of $500/week for each guest over 8 up to a maximum of 10. (For Christmas and New Year's weeks and Easter, the weekly rate rises to $4,750 or $4,800 depending.) The monthly rate is a discounted $14,000.
The main house (3 bedrooms) can be rented separately for $3,000 per week; maximum 6 persons. For an extra charge, the TV room on the main level has a queen sofa bed and its own full bath and can serve as a 4th bedroom. There is an additional charge for guests over the 6 person maximum. If guests wish to have a lunch or afternoon meal during the maids’ normal hours (9am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 9-12 on Saturdays) or after their regular hours, they can make arrangements directly with the maids. If guests do not speak Spanish well enough to communicate their wishes to the maids, they may contact San Miguel Management Company (SMMCO) to make arrangements. The maids’ rate of meal preparation is 100 pesos per hour per maid. If the meal is prepared during the maids’ regular hours, they will stay after cleaning up from the meal to perform their normal tasks for that day.
If Casa Cho Co Latte is rented separately (at $1,400 per week), then typically one of the maids (either Betty or Teresa) will come Monday through Friday to do light cleaning (make the beds, tend to the bathrooms as necessary, wash dishes, and water the plants as necessary). Maid service for the casita when rented separately does not include meal preparation.
Air conditioning is available for an extra (metered) charge in the main house and in the two casita bedrooms. Contact the host/owner in advance for details.
Minimum 7 night stay. Shorter visits and special events can be discussed. Lower rates can be available for longer stays. Higher rates apply during Christmas and New Year's weeks.
