Description
Een charmant vakantiehuis met veel authentieke elementen in een zeer rustig Frans gehucht in het Loiredal. ‘Het diepe hart van de Cher’
Le Charme du Cher is een ruime en mooi gerestaureerde boerenwoning met een oppervlakte van 150m2. Deze vakantiewoning heeft een stijlvolle woonkamer met grote haard en toegang tot terras, ruime eetkamer/keuken en een toilet op begane grond. Op de bovenverdieping bevinden zich 3 slaapkamers voor maximaal 6 personen, een badkamer met douche, wastafel en 2e toilet.
Veel authentieke elementen zijn bewaard gebleven, zoals: tomette vloeren, balkenplafond, natuurstenen muren en balkenconstructies in de slaapkamers. Er is een terras om in alle rust te lezen, lekker te barbecueën of gezellig met gezelschap te verblijven.
De woonkamer heeft een comfortabel bankstel en porte-fenêtre naar het terras op de binnenplaats. Op de binnenplaats staat een royale eettafel met 6 stoelen op een terras om in de buitenlucht van uw maaltijd met een wijntje te genieten, of om gewoon met een heerlijk boek weg te dromen.
De grote stenen schuur uit 1887 biedt plaats om fietsen en eventueel uw auto in te stallen. U hoeft geen eigen fietsen mee te nemen, deze staan ter beschikking! Parkeren van auto's kan ook voor de schuur, er passen meerdere auto's naast elkaar. Bij vakantiehuis 'le Charme du Cher' huis hoort ook nog een weide (op 30mtr. afstand) met uitzicht over het Loiredal en bij helder weer is het Fôret de Bertranges aan de overzijde van de Loire te zien.
De Franse buren in het gehucht vinden het leuk om contact te maken met de 'étrangers', maar alleen indien u dit ook wil (dus, indien u uw Frans wilt ophalen, is dit dé kans, al is het maar om verse eieren bij hen te kopen!).
Indien het buiten wat koeler wordt in voor- en naseizoen is het huis gezellig te verwarmen met een houtkachel in de woonkamer, en een comfortabele pelletkachel in de eetkamer/keuken. De badkamer wordt verwarmd met een elektrische kachel.
In het huis is ook toeristische informatie aanwezig omtrent mogelijkheden in de omgeving.
Aangezien we restaurant vergunning hebben kunnen we onze gasten ook 'table-d'hôtes' aanbieden. U eet dan samen met ons mee tijdens een 4-gangen maaltijd voor €25 p.p. Dit vindt plaats in onze andere gîte (Le Corbier), gelegen op 4 km afstand van Le Charme du Cher.
Wij zijn geclassificeerd volgens het Franse officiële systeem met 3 sterren !
