Description

Welcome to Seawinds Chalet based at Sandown Bay Holiday Centre. Just a short walk away from the beautiful safe sandy beaches of Yaverland. The views from the site are spectacular. We have three chalets at this location, so if you are looking to travel with friends or family we have chalets just a few doors away from each other. They are all fully self catering with an open plan kitchen and lounge. They provide comfortable accommodation for up to four people, with two bedrooms, one a double and one with full size bunk beds. The bathroom has a full size bath and shower above. High chair provided free of charge.

Electricity and bedding are included in all our rates. The lounge has a flat screen T.v with a built in DVD player. There is a folding dining table with chairs . A cosy sofa and chair ideal for relaxing on after a busy day at the beach. Outside is a lovely safe green area for the children to play or just to sit and watch the sun go down. Free WiFi available at the chalet.

Getting around

Getting around the Island is very easy, the local buses are operated by Southern Vectis, regular buses run between the main towns and resorts until very late at night, with services to rural areas operating throughout the day. By Train, the island Line Train service connects Ryde , Brading, Sandown, Lake and Shanklin. The trains link up with both Ryde passenger ferry services. The carriages might look familiar..they are old London Underground ones !. By Road, many of the Isand roads are very narrow, so please take care. They are well sign posted with major attractions in Brown.

“Very convenient for everything”

“Excellent accommodation, excellent location”

Just had a great week at Seawind. Very well kept and well thought out chalet. Beach access from the site (albeit a steep access, unless you go further along the coastal path) to a very nice beach. Site has no facilities and no clubhouse (so very quiet while we were there). Handy for all major attractions. Thanks Liza!

Response from the owner I was disappointed to read your review. We always appreciate feedback and try our hardest to list our property as accurate as possible. The site does not have any facilities such as club house and is not listed as having one or a shop. We do advise the nearest shops are in Sandown . There is also a large play area along the sea front.

“Excellent Chalet, Well Located”

Spent a lovely four nights in this delightful well-kept chalet. It’s excellently positioned just 10 minutes walk from the beach. Great for exploring the island, or just for walks along the beach, searching for fossils. A lovely warm reception on arrival, included a card and a little extra something. Our little boy loved the toys, we loved the comfortable and clean surroundings. We would highly recommend this chalet, both for its position on the island, and for the amenities provided. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

“An ideal base for all activities”

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Liza (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
